I use this for homemade burger patties; it's easy to use and does a good job of grilling. I use it for more than sandwiches. It's easy to clean and does not take up much space.

Is the 3er grill toaster that I bough, I have one in my other house out states and this I got for my home in the states. I love it, easy to use, and I made great panini and grill toast there.

This item is dangerous to use because it does not have a on and off switch and stays on till you pull plug out. This poorly designed appliance is dangerous to use and can cause severe burns.

This will grill a small and very thin sandwich. Because it has a fixed hinge, unlike more expensive models, it will compress any sandwich a lot - and it will be almost impossible to close over any sandwich that isn't very thin. It also has a very small surface area- many slices of bread will have to be trimmed to fit. The plates aren't removable for cleaning, so anything like cheese or moisture that gets into the cracks and beneath the plates will be stuck there forever. That said, it gets hot and can press a sandwich that meets these requirements.
