Universal Soft Vise Jaws, Synthetic Rubber Jaws 6” Red

Works great. Magnets are plenty strong. Synthetic protects items in the vise really well. I am using this for gun smithing.

Magnets are strong enough to stay in place on your vise jaws. The hard rubber is soft enough to not scratch plastic, wood or metal objects, yet hard enough to hold them firmly without marring the surfaces. Great addition to your shop.

Nicely built but just want to clear up this is HARD plastic. There is NOTHING soft about them, except they are not metal. You are still going to need some rubber to cushion and protect collector items, gun bbls, etc. Point is, there is already aluminum ones with a rubber face and if you actually want a non marring surface for antiques, fine guns and their parts, you want the rubber faced ones.These ARE nice and long, and would be fine for general use and clamping wood for gluing etc, though trying to clamp a chunk of steel in there and really crank the vise down, you are going to permanently indent the gnarled surface of these. So, choose the right tool for the right job. These are not for the delicate expensive stuff.

Great product. They hold your item very firm and have not marred or scratched anything i have put in them. The magnets have a strong grip on the vise and are not easy to knock off. I did trip mine down to 5 inch to fit my 5 inch vise this was pretty easy and all the magnets still fit within the vise jaws

Jaws work as intended. Appears to be of decent quality. Projects protected while working on them. No complaints.

Acceptable padding, but the magnets are not as strong as they could be!

The magnets stick them to the jaws and these just work great for about everything I've needed them for. I'd love to get a pair with a deep V in them for clamping on round smooth pipes and such.

Worked as advertised. The magnets held them in place better than expected. Did not mar wood when clamped in vise.
