These work pretty well and have survived the weather for a year.I’ve installed several and the quality is very consistent. I mounted this cam in a tree and it has not been detected, and has survived many rain storms.The acuity of the cam is decent-good enough. Won’t see at night.I’m I’ve used them to see short distances ( as opposed to under a second story eve). A super-value.

yes it's small, yes it's cheap, so don't expect HDTV. Mine runs on 12V DC (you'll need to buy a power supply), other reviewers have run theirs on 5Vdc to avoid magic smoke but mine runs on 12vdc. Picture ain't great, but the wide angle lens covers my entire hallway, & does OK with contrast.

Easy to install

So, bad news with it. It doesn't work. And can't say that idk what I'm doing. I've been developing operating systems, creating entirely custom CCTV advanced security systems for corporations and private alike - for a little over 14 years now. So, why would they sell simple cameras that I could've made myself out of stuff from the recycle bin of electronics but handnt had the time lately. Well, I don't recommend this, period. Waste of money, period. I'm tired of Amazon doing this stuff to me, they need to start looking into their sellers. This world wide bs is causing horrible quality control in basically all of Amazon's website. Not even worth my time anymore. Don't buy.

The video is quite good, resolution a bit low, but to be expected from such a wide angle lens. Good low light performance. The microphone was missing, but the seller immediately sent me a new camera, without even insisting on returning the broken one. So the sound is working well now, just with some white noise. Excellent customer service!

1. Overall picture quality is good after a warmup period. I have 3 of these cameras and each camera has a rosey color until it has had approx.15 minutes to warm up. My second concern is there is no focus adjustment. I use these inside of bird houses and need approx. 3" of focus range. Focus @ 3" is marginally acceptable.2. Mounting... these cameras have no way of mounting and do not include instructions. I had to make custom brackets for some bird houses and hot glue for others. I will continue to use them.

Great little camera for the money. Very small. Made a great bird cam.

I didn't trust the listed voltage of 12 volts 1 amp so I tried 5 volts 1 amp and it works perfect.I'm NOT going to push my luck and try 12 volts, it might release the magic smoke.
