My husband was in hospice and I was afraid of all the pillows getting ruined, but I still didn't want his skin to be touching plastic. These protective covers are waterproof and they feel soft enough. I mean they just feel like pillow covers with a nice little zipper too. I love them, I bought a couple just to see if I liked them and then I got some for the other pillows in the house in different sizes. I definitely recommend these I'm telling you they feel just like a normal pillowcase but waterproof.

Overall it’s great but they are not breathable whatsoever so I have to leave the zipper a bit open so that it’s not a bubble to sleep on. I would still recommend these to protect your pillows
