Great Quality - Works as Intended
Using these silicone seal rings with wide-mouth mason jars and plastic lids - these silicone seals work perfectly. Too bad there aren't any more in-stock currently, as I would love to purchase more!

I trimmed these for a good fit.
Worked well after I trimmed off the outer ridge.Possibly in some applications, you could push the seal into the underside of a screw on cap, and the lid might go on straight. Not in my application. Please see my two photos. One photo shows jar with drop-in mesh filter, and silicone seal positioned between jar top and filter lip. Second photo shows the purchased seal ring on left, and the sealing ring on the right, trimmed.I use these under the rim of a mesh filter that fits down inside a wide mouth Mason jar. Any standard-fit sealing Mason type lid goes over the top. As received, these bulge out at the sides so the lid can’t go on straight. I’m a detail guy, and I really tried to get the lids to seal, no luck.Problem solved by trimming off the seal’s outer ridge with sharp stainless scissors. Please see my two photos. The outer ridge doesn’t seal anything, only interferes with the lid getting tightened down. Also interferes with unscrewing it later. After trimming it off, I could screw down three different lid types that I have, and got good seals. I did have to go back and trim in a couple spots where I left a bit too much material on the seal.
