GlazeGuard Satin Floor Sealer Wall Sealer for Ceramic, Porcelain, Stone Tile Surfaces (1 Gal -Prof Grade (2) Part Kit

We waited a while to apply this because we were a little intimidated by the instructions. After watching the videos we decided to tackle the job ourselves rather than hiring someone to do it. It took longer than I had hoped but the results are fantastic.Take the time to carefully clean and prep the floor. Once it’s extremely clean, apply the sealer. We were doing a very large area so 2 of us applied the sealer. In fact it might have been better if we’d had a 3rd person but it ended up looking great. My wife did the edges of the space with the small roller from the applicator kit and I used the large roller. Take your time and only prepare as much solution as you can use in just over an hour.We bought the semi-gloss and the floor has a nice sheen. The floor looks “wet”. I can’t imagine how shiny the floor would be if we’d used the high gloss finish.

Mixed entire product because information sheet said shelf life was 12 months if kept under certain conditions, and after carefully following those conditions, the product still turned completely solid!!! It was at least 80% of the almost $200 product that was WASTED!!!!!!

Excellent product. Worked exactly as advertised. Has allowed the beautiful rich grains and colors of our porcelain "wooden" tile planks to come out. With the GlazeGuard now applied, the dull rough, surface of the tiles has been made smooth and shiny. Since this is day one after the product application, do not know how durable it will be. That review will be made at a later date. One suggestion is that Cover Tec should provide sample photos/swatches on the website of what the Wet Look, Gloss, Satin and Matte finishes look like. Even though we love the final look of the floor, we thought our selection of a Satin finish would have been a little less shiny. Makes us wonder what the Matte finish would have looked like. Overall, super product. Would recommend to others needing to find a product that provides a nice luster to dull tile.

Love this stuff , only problem, you can’t mop the floor with any harsh cleaners like pinesol .

Just the look I was going for. Pretty simple to apply. We had plenty left over (wish you could store it for future applications if you see a mess up) It is VERY sticky if you accidently get any on your feet or shoe. We purchased the Satin. When it first goes on it looks super shiny and I prayed it didnt stay that way. But once in completely dried it looks perfect. Great product, and we plan on purchasing more to do our bathroom tiles.

We added this to our floor and it is peeling up like sheets of plastic. Our floor now looks horrible and dirty all the time

This is a great sealer for ceramic or porcelain tile. Gives the floor a luxurious sheen and makes for easy cleaning.
