Works with home assistant and Alexa flawlessly
I was able to add this into my home assistant setup and it works great! I'm using this switch to control wiz bulbs in my home.It took a bit of figuring out but it's been working without error for the past week. I created scenes in the BL app, used Alexa to have those BL scenes (button press) trigger scenes made in home assistant. Essentially allowing me to trigger any device in my home (smart plug, computer, tv, etc) using this 4-button switch. There is a slight delay from the button being pressed to the lights changing (~5 seconds). But other than that, this is exactly the device I was looking for.Best parts: it has dots (so people know to press button 3, for example), it has LEDs to show which button was pressed, it has a two-year (easily replaceable) battery life, and the clicks are oh-so satisfying :)

Great easy to set up
I love this system!! It’s great I was easily able to set it up as were my parents who are older and they love it too! My dad really enjoys that they can create routines and have it set to turn off and on when needed and the color blue works great at night so it doesn’t disturb others. Really the only con is the controller doesn’t come with batteries. Everything hooked up right away as easy as can be.

Doesn’t broadcast
The media could not be loaded. This is the second one I’ve tried. It doesn’t broadcast the expected network (Broadlink_device_wifi). Even tried typing this in manually. It broadcasts something called Namolc which the app doesn’t recognize. Tried resetting multiple times and it stays continuously flashing instead of becoming intermittent which it says isn’t the AP mode. SO FRUSTRATING! Please respond with a fix or I will return this and my Broadlink devices tomorrow.

Slightly irritating
Works really well when Using the app or 4 button pad after spend a full day playing around.SEZURE ADVISORY goes from ho hum Flicker to Haunted house strobe in milliseconds)ALEXA1. very DISAPPOINTED. As soon as you click to create a scene it sends a default scene to Alexa immediately.2. I have not gotten any of the 6 bulbs, any scene or grouping to work with Alexa voice or Alexa app. But the funny thing is they are getting a command or two from some unknown device. If anyone has worthwhile suggestions I am still actively searching for a solution. My Halloween decorations would have been 1000 times enhanced, and Christmas decorations are going up soon. And I wasn't even aware of the motion detection till I started this review." DOES NOT WORK WITH IFTTT
Hub was not the newest hub. It’s only Bluetooth. It’s absolute garbage. Do not buy.

PAY ATTENTION FOOLS
This is NOT a wifi bulb. Wifi bulbs are dangerous, this is BLE. It build a BLE network. So they work even when there are internet issues. This means its a different system completely. Its a better system, its the way all smart home products are moving. The bad reviews are from people who don't pay attention. These are amazing, no hubs needed, no intrusive application on m phone talking to a server in Europe or China. Integrates with Alexa without issue, if you want that. Defeats the purpose of the devices if you ask me. The lights are bright saturated and beautiful. The system has useful scenes. The ONLY negative to these products is that you cannot create scheduled macros from the official software. I understand why they dont do it, but for those of us who keep a control device at home all the time, ie a tablet, it would be nice to do it without having to connect to a third party service.

Who doesn’t include a battery in 2023?
No battery included, and of course it’s not a standard size. Otherwise works OK, but not great--button presses sometimes get missed even though the receiver is about 3 ft away.

Trouble connecting the hub and bulbs to wifi
I haven’t been able to successfully link my bulbs or hub to wifi so the only function I have is turning my light switch on and off if anyone or the seller has any advice on trouble shooting these issues it would be greatly appreciated

Push Button Switch which runs Alexa Routines
I bought the Broadlink FastCon Starter kit mainly to get the Push Button Switch (SC4B4) and hub to run Alexa routines and this works just fine - sometimes I don't want to have to bark commands at Alexa. (It's odd that this functionality hasn't been mentioned in the Amazon product description!)I did look at the Flic button but it costs more than I wanted to spend. My kit included a battery for the Switch (another reviewer mentioned that it wasn't included in theirs)A slight oddity is that the trigger for Alexa presents as a Motion Sensor rather than a Button so you just have to select 'Motion Detected'.It seems some people have had issues getting this functionality to work so my troubleshooting tips are:Make sure Hub Firmware is up-to-dateIf a Scene doesn't appear/update in Alexa, try disabling and re-enabling Alexa Broadlink BLE skill in the Alexa app.Make sure the Switch is in range of HubThe included user manuals don't go into the details of running Alexa Routines but I've added a YouTube video 'Review and setup of Broadlink Scene Switch SC4B4' to go through that.

It's ok but needs improvements
Right the set up for the bulbs is simple enough. Alexa set up is also simple enough. At this basic level it's fine. bulbs are sufficiently bright, say for bedrooms. So I added the 4 way switch and had a play. I managed to press a toggle on the switch and turn a bulb on. But here is where the software needs to do better. Looking at the app and the Alexa app the change of state is not reported. I wasted timing testing the scene process because the bulb in question was upstairs and I was coding in the living room. Nothing i could do using the switch would be shown in either APP. So I went upstairs and discovered I had in fact configured correctly and managed to turn a bulb on using one of the toggles on the switch(there 4 available). So how then do you turn it off. Well you have to use another switch toggle to turn off a bulb when you press a different button. Really? It clearly needs actional functionality , how about double tap to increase the number of routines you can run.Another issue is Alexa. Wouldn't it be nice to have a trigger available for when a device changed state(off/on). I use HE automation and it's a real pain getting Alexa devices into HE, but this is another story for another day.A couple of minor negatives. There isn't a battery for the switch and it appears the only way to mount the switch to a wall is to use double side tape which they don't provide. In summary I think product has been rushed to market too soon but on the positive side it shows great potential and I look forward for future software updates.

The other reviews are outdated - please read!
The media could not be loaded. The old reviews on here were written before Broadlink updated their product in Nov 2022. The new update allows you to trigger any device the buttons on the switches via Alexa or other means. In my house I have:- 9 broadlink bulbs- 7 broadlink switches- 1 broadlink hubThis line of smart decision devices had revolutionised my house and smart home design. For example, in the morning I press a button on a broadlink switch next to my bed and my blinds open, lights come on and music plays. The possibilities are endless. The beauty of this ecosystem is that it doesn't rely on WiFi or bluetooth, so even if you're having Internet issues the lights will still work 100% of the time.I wired all my lights switches to be permanently on, then stuck a switch over the hole. This means you can control the lights at the Switch or via routines and you phone without any of your family being told not to tough them.As I have a long lounge and dinning room it is amazing to turn on all the ceiling lights, lamps and various strip lights with the single press of a button. The final beautiful moment is when have replaced all your light switches and you can start placing them anywhere as no electric is required. Sticking one under the coffee table with buttons set to cinema lighting and lamp lights is genius. If it wasn't already apparent I love this ecosystem and in really grateful Broadlink developed an update that delivered what was promised at launch. I would ignore the reviews from before 2023 if I were you.
