Works very well. Easy to zero.
Easy to install with an adapter plate. It is installed on a compact size tool. The glass is clear. The red dot is the perfect size and very clear also. Zeroes easily at 25 yards using a bench rest. Excellent for the price.

Spike FDE
Worked for a couple months just fine, easy to zero, good enough sight picture, crisp dot, BUT. After it being on constantly for 2 months I don't know if it's a dead battery or the sight just intermittently working. But it'll come on and then go back off. Mainly used it for my Springfield Hellcat bb co² gun. If it can't handle co² recoil... then I doubt it would last much longer on its firearm counterpart. Works well enough for what it is. But it being smaller I'd love to see the price down around 65 instead of 95. Also the finish scratches pretty easily on this fde color. So be careful with it. Overall pleased.

This really is a great red dot.
I own three of this sights. All three on Caniks. They adjust quickly to different light conditions automatically. The dot is reasonably clear to my eyes even though I have astigmatism. Extremely accurate. It is robust with a clear picture. All aluminum casing. Easy to install and instantly improved by groups.I’m a certified pistol instructor and I’ve had to constantly retrain with iron sights because these are like cheating. ADE Spike, you did it.

Bought a returned product?
I purchased an RD3-018 S Tactical Reflex Dot Sight on 03-18-2023. Opened the box and it looked like it was used. Very discouraging. Battery was already inserted into the sight which I thought was odd. Are sights shipped with batteries already inserted? Looked like the bottom ring around the battery socket/housing is scratched up. The lower right side just right of the "Press here" arrow looks like corrosion. This sight did not come with an anti flickering/sealing shim! Was this to be provided? Need the shim to seal the space between the sight and the firearm. The Elevation Adjustment Dial screw looks like a screw driver had slipped when someone was adjusting it...meaning turning it too hard and far... Lastly there was no allen wrench provided. Was that to be provided? I thought I was paying for a full, new product and looks like a received a used product with parts and tools missing. Awaiting a response from ADE.
