This pencil is shockingly capable.
I have recently learned that having an Apple Pencil and a 2 year old…is a dangerous combination. I have always been ultra-focused on keeping track of my Apple Pencil. I am not an artist but I do work in the creative field. I don’t use my pencil everyday. But that days that I do, it is an essential part of my workflow. I am a video producer and use my 12.9 inch iPad Pro while I am conducting interviews. During the interviews I use the Apple Pencil to take notes, mark off questions, and jot down anything that is important.I went to prepare for work the other day and my pencil was GONE. I searched the house. 4 times. Eventually I gave up. Out of panic, I ordered another Apple Pencil. They are NOT cheap. I have always struggled with how much they cost considering how little I use it (compared to visual artists). After placing the order, I remembered an article I read on The Verge about 3rd party Apple Pencil alternatives. I figured I had nothing to lose, thanks to Amazon’s easy return policy. When this pencil arrived, I was shocked at how much it looked like the original one. It looks and feels almost the same, except it is a little bit lighter. It magnetically attaches to the side of my iPad and charges just like the Apple one. Writing on the screen is just as fast and smooth. I see absolutely no difference in performance. When I am highlighting notes and I turn this pencil sideways, it widens the breadth of where it is highlighting just like a real highlighter. I have always thought this was a cool feature of the Apple Pencil and this product is no different. My iPad battery widget shows the charge level just like the real one.The only feature lacking is pressure sensitivity. This pencil can’t tell how hard you are pressing down on it. But I find this to be 0% a problem for me at all. The pressure sensor is mainly used by visual artists who are drawing or painting with it. Someone who just takes notes has no need for the pressure feature. I honestly didn’t even know that was a feature until I lost mine and started looking at alternatives. There is one thing that slightly irks me about this product (and it is not a big deal at all). You have to wake it up when you first remove it from the iPad. I have found that this takes less than one second. When I remove it, I let go and allow it to snap back onto the magnets briefly. Then the light comes on and I pick it up again and use it. It has only been a few days and I am already used to doing this I don’t feel like it slows me down at all. If I know I am going to be taking a bunch of notes, I just leave it off the magnets until I’m done. There is one major advantage compared to the Apple branded pencil. Because this one needs to be woken up, the battery is preserved when it is not attached to the iPad. The Apple version tends to die in my backpack if I don’t have it attached to the side of the magnets. The “always on” nature of it means that it is always using a little juice even as it jostles around in my backpack. But this pencil, does not lose any charge unless you are writing with it. It can bounce around my backpack for days and not loose even a single % of charge.Unless you are very into drawing on your iPad, this is a no brainer. It is $100 USD cheaper and does almost everything the Apple version costs. I have since found my missing Apple pencil but I still use this one as my primary. Because it costs so much less, I don’t live in fear every day that I am going to lose it. If I do, it is not the end of the world. If you’re considering getting this, give it a try. You’ll love it.

Exceptional Value for Money
I recently purchased the iPad Pencil 2nd Generation with Magnetic Wireless Charging, and I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase. Despite the name brand price tag, I managed to snag this gem for just under $30. It’s clear that the high price is largely for the brand name, but this product delivers far beyond its cost. The box included the pencil, two tips, and clear instructions on how to connect it. Although the QR code for the lifetime warranty seemed to have expired, I was promptly contacted by the company via email confirming the warranty. This proactive customer service was a pleasant surprise.Setting up the pencil was a breeze. It arrived fully charged and turning it on was as simple as tapping the top until it glowed green. The performance of the pencil exceeded my expectations. It works smoothly, without any issues, making my iPad interactions seamless and enjoyable. In conclusion, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. The iPad Pencil 2nd Generation offers great value for its price, easy setup, and outstanding performance. I would highly recommend it to anyone in search of a reliable and affordable alternative to expensive brand-name products.

Great pencil but disconnects often
Having used this iPad pencil, I find it to be a solid addition to my collection. Overall, it performs well, but there's a minor inconvenience with it turning off a bit sooner than expected. Despite this, once activated, the pencil operates seamlessly, and I haven't faced any notable issues. It truly shines when it comes to writing tasks, offering a consistent and effective experience.Unfortunately, I recently lost it, but based on my positive experience, I plan on ordering a new one soon. The sleek design and ease of use, along with its reliable performance, make it a valuable asset for anyone in need of a dependable writing tool for their iPad.

Works well
I’ve never used any type of Apple Pencil so my review isn’t very helpful if your were looking for that. The product feels nice in hand and very smooth when gliding across the screen. Easy to install just turn it on and connect via Bluetooth. Nice size good quality doesn’t look very glossy and nice color and weight.

Apple Pencil Dupe
Quality is amazing! Size is the same as Apple Pencil. Compared to Apple Pencil this pencil is wayyyyy lighter, but I kind of love that. Responsiveness is just as great, very stable. Very easy to connect to iPad, magnetic charging works just like Apple Pencil. The only difference is the light at the top and how much lighter it is. If you’re looking for an Apple Pencil dupe, look no more this one is perfect!

Great Pencil at a Great Price
Both my daughters wanted an ipad pencil so we found this one on amazon which was a much more affordable price. The only problem was they also had older ipads and the pencil wouldn't charge. So we got a little charger and the pens work great! Recommend these pens if you need something for your kids and don't want to spend the apple prices.

great quality for decent price
Looks and feels like the Apple Pencil. Only slight hassle is that you’ll need to turn it on and off and it pairs via Bluetooth to one device at a time. Other than this, am pleased with my purchase!

Great product
Been using extensively for the last 3 weeks on last gen Ipad Pro (M2 chip). Really works great, precise, charges flawlessly, can't really complain. Did not cause any issues on initial pairing or with ongoing work in drawing for graphical design.Had one occurrence where the pen stuck for a few seconds, suspect might have been some external radio interference. Yes, it does power down after idle periods, but that was a completely non-issue as it is being used in continuous sessions without downtimes.I have no reference point to the original Ipen, but this really feels like a great product for the quarter of the price.
