I've been using the Elgato Wave 3 microphone since 2022, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. This mic has exceeded my expectations in every way, and even after a couple of years of consistent use, it still performs as flawlessly as the day I got it.Pros:- Audio Quality: The sound quality is exceptional. This is a good mic for zoom and teams.Nice that all controls are available without software. Good headphone volume and low latency. Works with or without Elgato software.Very sensitive. Like the touch to mute on top of mic.

The media could not be loaded. Very easy and does the audio clarity for you. All you need is the volumed.

It was really annoying setting up the mic, as I set the FX mic as the default mic, but discord would use the default Elgato mic. Besides that, it really helps boost my voice up and get rid of some unwanted background sounds. I was really debating on this or the dynamic mic. Not only is my AC loud, but I have dogs and family who like to be loud. Condenser mics aren't the best for that situation, but I don't want a mic in my face, so I'm REALLY happy they have the built-in FX tab in the app. People noticed my mic sounded much better and not a lot of background noises gets picked up now!

i got the hyper x quad cast mic and this elgato mic and let me tell u i was shockedThe elgato mics quality was 10 times better than the hyper x one even tho it was cheaperIts build quality is awesome feels super high quality and premiumThe size is small which is perfect to fit in ur setup without feeling like its blocking ur vision

The mic itself is quite nice once you set up all the noise cancelling in the software it comes with. It looks nice but you definitely will want a mic arm with it. The software is a bit clunky and doesn't work as easily as some said it would and i ended up just disabling most of the channel splitting perks it had and just use the mics main channel.

I just started a new YouTube channel and needed a budget friendly microphone. I heard a lot of veteran YouTubers use Elgato so I gave it a try. It didn’t disappoint. The quality of sound is amazing and it is very easy to use. 100% recommend it.

Beginning or budget streamers and content creators should take a look at this microphone. For a lot of people, it works as is right out of the box with no or very little adjustments to your sound. The Wavelink software that is free for it, is great if you want to separate and mix all of your sounds to different channels.Some complain that it's not as fancy as some but I do like the sleeker look of this microphone. It would be nice if it had less of a plastic feel to it but I appreciate that it's lightweight because of it and will be easier to travel with. It does only offer one pickup pattern which is the cartiod pattern compared to some of its competitors. Like with any of the other mics that have physical knobs to switch between the gain, monitoring volume button on the front it is a bit noisy. But when it comes to the mute option on top of the Wave 3, it is seamless and can't be beat!Bottom line, there are other mics that may look fancier and may have more pickup patterns. But if you don't have the budget for an XLR microphone or GoXLR mixer, and want something that sounds great, this is the way to go and what I am using myself!

Picked this mic up for podcasting and some online gaming/role play stuff, as well as for recording vocals for music. Before buying this mic I was using a mid range XLR condenser into a Scarlet Solo USB interface, but was having issues with latency when monitoring my voice in real time, which is pretty important in the types of games I'm using this for (Role play servers like Ignite and WildRP etc). The Elgato Wave:3 has a headphone jack for direct monitoring of the mic in your mix and as soon as I plugged it in and made some adjustments it worked perfectly. Sound quality is pretty decent, maybe a 8/10, build quality, also decent, it's body is plastic with some aluminum... but it feels solid. The controls built into the mic are helpful, and the Wave:3 software has worked well! It attached to my boom stand without issue and it's small enough to stay out of the way. I also picked up the Elgato pop filter and shock mount, I've reviewed those separately. Glad I picked this mic up, it's doing exactly what I needed it to do and it sounds good doing it!

I got a product with damaged packaging, strange dots on the mic, and black powder inside the box. Seems like it was used before.

This microphone is really easy to use and the sound quality stands head and shoulders above others I've tried, and it's easy to filter background sounds out using free software. The built-in mute switch and volume knob really help and the larger kit version was really handy to set up on a desk, with a large opening clamp. The black or white options also help fit the aesthetic quite well, but they're the same underneath with some discounts to be found on Amazon when I've looked.
