This tie itself is a novelty tie. This isn't a quality tie you'd buy in a clothing store. It's more of something you'd see in a Times Square gift store. The price/value is good ... just don't think this is going to look as good as an actual tie from a clothing store. It has that polyester shine and the design is printed into the fabric.I am curious how this company can say for the origin: 'Made in the USA or Imported.'? That's almost like someone advertising a car for sale as 'New or used.' Further in the description it says, 'Designed in the USA'. (Not made in the USA) There are no labels in the tie that say where it was made. (I'll give you one guess ...) I get that it's a bit weird to have a patriotic tie made in another country but this company needs to own it. It feels a little deceptive and disingenuous the way they sort of imply the tie was Made in the USA, when clearly it is not.As for the fit ... I am 6'3, so on me, if I were to tie this at the length I normally wear a tie, the 'We the People' in the center of the tie (which is the only part you can read) is under where my sport coat buttons. I think anyone 6 feet tall and under would have this show in the correct place. I wear it under a blazer about 1 inch up from where my normal tie ends. (See picture.) The tie is on the narrow side ... but doesn't look too out of place.I just wish the writing was a bit bigger and lighter/more defined. It's only by seeing 'We the People' do you get that the other 'squiggles' are written words. A yellow tie with black writing might show off the words better. The blue is a lighter version of navy with lighter blue print. It looks a bit mismatched with an actual navy blue blazer but with a grey, tan or brown jacket, it looks more stylish and matched.Overall, I do like this tie and feel that it's important that people understand how important The US Constitution is. While it's certainly far from the best looking or most high quality tie I own, the message is important enough to me that I'd wear it often and possibly give some out as presents. The loop on the rear seems stitched on well enough that it won't fall off, which is my biggest pet peeve on ties. If only the writing was a bit clearer and the tie was a bit wider to make a larger knot, I'd like this even more.This would make a great graduation present for a lawyer or future lawyer ... or for someone who is fairly patriotic.

I'm not sure why this tie is listed as "funny," but I got it for my 18-year-old son, who loves to dress up and who wears ties fairly regularly. This tie is of reasonable quality, but it is not likely to be something that you'd wear every day either. He doesn't exactly own a ton of really great ties, so this matches the quality of most of what he has.It is marked as being 100% polyester, and being handmade. I don't see anything that actually tells me where it was made, which bothers me.I can see this being a great gift for a high school government teacher. My son is likely to wear it on patriotic types of days - election day, Veteran's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Constitution Day. Not that he wears a tie most of those days as a rule.This is something he likes having as an option though. It is subtle, which he really appreciates. He usually goes for ties that don't scream "novelty tie!" but are fun and/or clever when you look closely.

I got this tie for my husband when we decided to start going to church more often. He is a proud American and was more than happy to get this. It is sharp looking and the stitching seems to be good quality. He can't wait to wear it and see the compliments he gets!
