H2O Capsule 2.2L Half Gallon Water Bottle with Storage Sleeve and Covered Straw Lid – BPA Free Large Reusable Drink Container with Handle - Big Sports Jug, 2.2 Liter (74 Ounce)

I’ve been using this bottle for months now so I have a handle on the pros and cons.Pros:I like the resilience of the bottle itself. It’s very strong and doesn’t dent when pressed on or dropped. The top is also very strong, I tend to pick the bottle up by the lid and it has never broken or even loosened.The sleeve option is nice because it stops the condensation and doesn’t leave rings on my table or desk. There are some nice patterns too, if you can get them before they sell out. Having the handles and straps is a plus as well.Cons:I don’t like the small opening, you can’t fit large ice cubes in the top and that’s what I had hoped for upon purchasing.There is no straw included or an alternative top/lid. You can buy a straw separately but they sell out really fast. I have been using my own reusable straws with an improvised stopper to keep it from falling into the jug, but that means the lid doesn’t close and I have spilled SO MANY TIMES I am over it.The sleeve does not actually keep water cold, just prevents condensation. The wetness also stains the sleeve material and requires an entire wash to get rid of the staining. But it dries over night so that’s good.I won’t buy another H2O Capusle, but I’d maybe buy another sleeve for the bottle I already have. I purchased the HydroBear jug off Amazon which includes a straw for a great price. The make is very similar if not exactly the same as HydroJug so I will get a sleeve from them to take care of the condensation problem and add the handiness of straps and handles and spot for my phone.EDIT:I lied. Haha. I have bought two more H2O capsules since buying the OG. I have seen the integrity of the bottle be much more impressive than other bottles and the company is really stepping it up with new sleeves and top cap options from the sip lid to the different straw lids. I will say the big downside is the bottle that comes with the straw attached like sippy-lid style is not very good because the amount of work it takes to get any water through the straw is crazy and sometimes the tops just don’t work at all.

This bottle is life changing.I have been trying to find a water bottle of this size that doesn’t seem cheaply made. I’ve ordered others from amazon I had to send back because it just wasn’t worth the money. This one didn’t smell like chemicals when I opened it to clean it. (Compared to others I’ve ordered)AND it comes with the multi purpose sleeve really making it worth your money it adds that layer of protection if you accidentally drop it. I dropped mine from a short distance and the case definitely absorbed the shock.The sleeve has really helped minimize the trips I take back and forth to the dumbell rack at the gym (I don’t use a locker). Instead of leaving my water, phone, & keys behind while I go put my weights back I just carry it over my shoulder And grab new weights all in one trip to move to the next location. (which would usually be about 2-3 depending on Weights).I haven’t used it for hiking yet but I’m sure with this all I’ll need is a fanny pack for snacks now instead of a whole back pack to do this water bottles job. AMAZING!HIGHLY RECOMMEND !I didn’t know how much I needed it until I after I got it!Hope this helps anyone who was in search of a good one!

So what I liked about this bottle was that it was cute and held a lot of water and it kept it cold, I also like that it had a handle and a carrying strap and I could put like my work ID in there and at that point that’s pretty much where what I like about the bottle stops. I had this bottle for like three or four weeks and then I went to flip up the straw to drink my water and I got a bunch of air and I dismantled it and as you can see in the picture of the silicone actually ripped connecting the straw to the actual like nipple part of the contraption and so I was like OK no big deal maybe I pinched it somehow or I got in the wrong spot whatever I’ll just order a new one because *surely this company would have the straw that they have on their product available for purchase* - PLOT TWIST: they do not. 👿And I only found that out *after* I purchased the only straw that they do offer only to find out it does not fit into the lid that originally came with my bottle. So just a sum up 1) they don’t sell extra replacement lids for a bottle that they sell and 2) they don’t sell the replacement straw that came with the bottle that they sell. I really like this bottle and I really wanted it to work out so if some representative from H2O capsule wants to message me or tell me how to get a new lid or a replacement straw (that will actually fit my lid) I’ll be all ears, but if you have yet to purchase this bottle maybe go look for one that actually has all the replacement parts that you could possibly need.

this is definitely worth it! i wanted a good quality 1/2 gallon water jug, but i’m picky and will only drink cold water so i would’ve paid twice the amount for the insulator with a hydrojug. the insulation might keep it cold a little longer but not significantly. i found that freezing the full jug of water(not quite to solid ice) helps because the insulation keeps it from melting as fast and also prevents sweating.this jug is definitely durable, it has taken a few falls and hasn’t shown any wear. i haven’t tested it in the dish washer yet, but i will say that it’s not easy to clean with a regular length dish brush. but the pros definitely outweigh the cons for me on this one, it’s totally worth the buy if you want something a little less expensive than a hydrojug. added bonuses: i’ve gotten so many compliments on the urban sketch print, and the small details they added like the carrying strap(godsend!), and the phone holder and key clip are such convenient and well thought-out additions!

Price point wise I would say 5/5 - For the price paid and getting two bottle caps, a little brush and the whole neoprene sleeve, really can’t complain. Intention is to bring to gym but have yet to do so hence unsure how it will hold up. Excited about how well thought out the different compartments are and not complicated to use. Have used to the straw cap and it works well. Only downside is that it is not dishwasher friendly to give it a good blizz now and then. Would still highly recommend tho just for the well thought out design and price point

I love how many different ways I can hold my water bottle which makes it easy for transportation. The pocket is great to slide things in and out of. Instead of sliding my phone in the pocket since it’s a bit of a tight fit, I slide my phone where the handle and it rests there and it’s great! I love the case too, the strap moves very easily so it’s not hard to adjust either.

Overly complicated, not metric friendly and costly for a water bottle.

Works great. Only downside is it gets hard to suck from so every so often you have to loosen the lid to get proper fluid flow through the straw.
