Genuinely the best socks (even 3 years later)
My work is hell on my feet, if I use standard sneakers and socks I burn through the sneakers every two months and the socks about twice as fast. After switching to timberland boots the durability problem there was taken care of but I still struggled to find socks that could put up with the abuse, until fox river saved my poor ankles. 3 years, still going strong, with minimal wear. Comfortable, thick without being overly hot, wicks moisture well, and most of all DURABLE! If like me you spent forever searching for a sock that could take a bit of abuse, look no further.

Best military boot socks on entire market.
I have spent 8 years active duty Army as of now, and whether I was out in the field/overseas as a combat medic, or in a garrison environment as an MI Officer, like I am now, there are no other socks I will wear with my boots. The thickness is perfect, they are easy to put on and take off, absorb sweat well without creating any retained moisture, dry relatively quickly, and incredibly durable. I have several pairs that are 6/7 years old and you can barely tell the difference from the new ones, other than they have slightly faded overtime due to repeated washing. They fit great, do a great job of preventing blisters, and $15 bucks a pair seems expensive but is worth every single penny.

Solid socks
Bought these before my deployment over seas. So far these remain comfortable all through my 12 hr shifts. Have not been able to test them in high heat or low colds. The only reason I am docking them 1 star is I still dont think they are worth the high price and they are very tall, nearly knee height which is a bit tall for most people. All around great socks, the only reason I was willing to pay the price is because I needed something solid in this color for my uniform in the OCPs.

Better than expected!!
Going from Arizona dry heat to Louisiana humidity for JRTC field training, these kept my feet dry! I loved these socks so much. I even bought a couple more pairs just because it was going to be worth it. You could wear it one day, let them dry out, use a different pair the next day and switch them back if you needed to get two days out of them. I have the tendency to sweat a bunch and get heat rash on my shins so the fact that with foot powder, I didn’t have that issue at all. I refuse to go back to army issued socks.

High quality socks. I like them better than People socks.
I’ve had these fox river socks for about two months. I do a lot of outdoor sporting events and hiking and long range patrol duties for my work. I’d used people socks in the past but these are my new go-to socks. They’re warm but they also breathe well. My feet aren’t the sweatiest but I think of you have moderate sweat these will work out fine. I’ve gone on 48 hour longer range patrols in swampy regions and my feet stayed dry. Even when I changed them out due to wear time (~12 hours in boot) and they were a bit moist they dried quickly and fully (1-1/12 hours) laid out in the sun (80degrees F -90% humidity). My only concern is that in one of the three pairs there is some thinning on the back right heel. Full disclosure I was breaking in new boots at the time and probably didn’t rotate out the socks initially.
