Blade broke in 2minutes, changing the blades was a nightmare. Tried using the strings and they don't stay on

I found if you use the regular trimmer string and tie a knot in it as shown in the pictures it doesn't come out.

Using it every time will need to change the blades

Using to edge and did not hit any obstruction and it broke when it touched the ground.

Connected property as shown to Ryobi P2008 trimmer. First use it popped out on one side. Second use it flew off the trimmer and just missed my leg. I could have been severely injured. Returning and buying the real Ryobi brand.

Within an hour or two of use, the part of the head unit that holds the replaceable blades broke on one side (just as in other people's photos). The head unit is the part that ought to last "for years", not just through one battery, not even wearing out a set of blades.I returned it and bought a set of the "other design" parts (that I think are more like the OEM). We'll see how they do.

My first review ever. Bought this for clearing weeds around the ranch that were too tough for a string trimmer. Blades cut very well… BUT… the blades are very fragile. If you bump anything other than weeds they break. So I bought the attachment to be able to replace blades, and it broke within 10 minutes of use. I’ll be going back to just fighting the string.

this is the SECOND product- both broke in less than 5 seconds of use- both broke along the same line (look at image) the material is clearly not set up to be able to deal with the manner in which it was described- could be a manufacturing defect, or simple shoddy materials- avoid product
