The Good:The battery in this is fantastic. I have no reason to doubt that it has a 5000 mAh battery inside as it can recharge my iPhone 6s 3 times with ease. On that side, it behaves exactly how I would want it to.The Bad:THIS CASE DOES NOT PROTECT THE FRONT. Many cases stick out a few mm in front of the screen, so that if put the phone face down (or drop it face down) the case will protect the screen. This case does not. It barely covers the metal portion, which is very disappointingThe magnet (for car mounts and such) does not work very well. If the phone will sit flat or maybe a 30 degree angle, this will probably work just fine for you. If your mount requires that it sit at any larger angle, especially above 45 degrees, IT WILL FALL DOWN. I use a vent mount (my vents are at about 60 degrees, very similar to the photo they use above) that holds my phone very securely well with the magnetic pads it came with, however this case falls down when I'm driving every time there's any slight bump or jostle in the road.The lights on the back are very annoying. If the case is charging my phone, the lights are always on and blinking. My previous battery case would turn the lights on for a few seconds when I clicked the buttons which is much better for me.

I have had the case for a while now and I am not happy with it.For starters charging it has always been inconvenient because the charge port only has the pins on one side so if the cable moves it doesn’t charge and it falls out.Second, I am always careful with removing the charge cable but little by little the metal that holds the charger that connects to the phone kept getting loose until it broke off. Imagine leaving your device connected for a few hours expecting it to be full when you got back and discovering that somehow the cable moved and you are stuck with a dead device?Thirdly, sometimes even with a full charge the device wouldn’t turn on until I connect it to a charger. I only had to connect it for a second then the problem would be fixed but those times that I didn’t have power nearby I was screwed.

I must say living in Nyc I have seen the benefit of having this backup charge and I have enjoyed it thoroughly to say the least. But I have been challenged with charging this battery pack since day one. When I plug the charger into the port of the battery pack there is no firm attachment that the battery pack is designed with to assure the charger will remain charging.Whenever I try charging the battery pack it takes nothing to disconnect the charger. Even if I barely move the charger it should no release from the battery pack.For example when a phone owner plugs the charger into his/her iPhone, one is confident in knowing that the phone will charge because there is a firmness that the iPhone is designed with which grips the charger. And the charging continues until the cord is manually detached.I should have looked to return this day one for dissatisfactions such as the charging issue but I let this play out and now I’m paying for it because as of tonight the phone itself is not charging when I connect the cord. However the batter pack is fully charged.I recommend being very careful ordering this and that if you receive a battery pack with the same issues such a me - please return this defected device ASAP !As consumers we need better product for our money because we are all seriously working way too hard to buy these items multiple times.

I have used charging packs everyday for 7 years. I loved the look and ergonomics of this one at first. However, The first day I dropped my phone three times, case kept slipping out of my fingers, very slick. Broke my screen. That has never happened before with any other charging case. The charge is semi functional, going on and off when trying to use it on the phone. It has an iphone charging port which is horrible. I have used four different cords and none of them will click in and stay. cords keep falling out of charging port.I just logged on and bought another Mophie.

As a battery to extend your phone's daily use this has been fine BUT -- the case itself is so badly designed that between being slippery, not fully wrapping around the edges, and being made out of material that doesn't absorb even the smallest shock, my iPhone 6 is officially kaput within weeks. (I have had 4 iPhones since the original with cases and never has so many issues.) You may buy it thinking you'll get more life out of your phone, but you are taking on a much higher risk of cracking your screen and internals getting jarred. Yes, I take blame for having dropped it here and there, but it wasn't from that high or with force, and that's why the case has proven itself to be bad at protection.

I didn’t like this that much. It was extremely difficult to get on and off. Also it was really slippery and hard to keep in my hands without dropping it. It charges nicely though that is why i give it two stars. I ended up getting one of those portable chargers and a different case for my phone. Also The battery pack on the phone was a bit heavy.

The battery works perfectly. No issues with that. My case however had some fit issues and it was not flush around the corners. It came out too easily. Also, there was no real lip to the front so if it fell face down, your screen would get the impact. That said, the battery part of this worked perfectly.

Ordered this battery case 4 months ago- at first it performed as advertised, but a week ago it stopped charging. I had to play a bit with the cable connector, and it became obvious it was a mechanical issue, the inside connector was loose. Then I tried to take the phone out to charge it directly, and the inside connector easily bent, and eventually broke on one side. I believe its a bad quality connector, and that rendered the whole thing useless, after only 4 months of use. I am very careful when charging, mostly use cradles.
