I was a bit skeptical at first and then I lit them and was impressed.I was at a cookout and just as twilight set in I lit these and wow... they burn nice and look great. Most everyone was asking about them and where to get some.They are a bit stubborn to light which I consider to be a very good safety aspect, burned around 4 hours on a calm night.I put them in a metal bucket filled halfway with sand because if one needs put out all I have to do is flip it over.They are fairly priced especially when you consider thebcost of Fite wood. You can.put them just about anywhere as long as you use common sense with fire precaution.Definitely recommended. I'm taking 4 camping this week to place around the site with a wood fire in the center ring.

After enjoying the 2-3 inch “bonfire” flame (despite the lid oddly claiming 2-3 foot flames) for about 30 minutes, my wife commented how there are neat little bubbles forming in the pool of melted wax. “It’s boiling”, she says. Fast forward five minutes and the bubbles are getting more intense, starting to nearly bubble/pop the hot oil out of the candle tin. We realized it was best at that point to quickly put out the flame by sliding the lid over the tin so the oil couldn’t continue to heat up — and before it gave us those 2-3 foot flames.One star because this seems extremely unsafe.

Product is great but don’t recommend using for hours! Wax will start to sizzle and pop like grease in a pan!

Able to enjoy it faster than expected.

This is great for backpacking and it did keep me warm actually. However I tried to relight it after using it for the first time and extinguing it properly but it would not light. Still want to use it and will try to figure out how to relight it because this is a very convenient way to have a contained fire while backpacking.

This was great for the outdoor space we had while on vacation recently. It is easy to use, provides a good bit of light and long lasting.

These are absolutely awesome! Perfect for making s’mores, setting a romantic atmosphere, or just adding a little warmth. Light up easily, and burn well. I appreciate that they come with little fire retardant disk.. def makes me feel a little safer.Very cool to use! And easy to transport.
