It was packed in a nice round cardboard tube with caps that held the battle mat, dry erase markers, eraser, and spray bottle. So convenient for storage after the game session. Make sure to follow the instructions on rolling it up when you go to store it. If you roll it opposite of how it comes it will constantly try and roll up on you when you lay it out to play. I’ve seen it happen a lot at the local game shops when the host open rpg nights. The thought is that you want to protect the play surface... The mat, while thin, seems very durable. One thing I would recommend is using a microfiber cloth for erasing/cleaning the mat. The little supplied eraser is nice but leaves ink streaks. Also the markers come with tiny erasers on the caps that’s convenient when you need to change something when drawing out you terrain. Overall I’m super happy with this product!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Big! The cardboard cylinder it comes in is great storage, and it's size is the main thing I was looking for. I just use normal expo markers on it, but the original ones worked well, too. The eraser is also nice. They do seem to advertise a bunch of laminated stickers, which simply didn't exist for mine. We store it in its original container and use it an average of about twice a month. I don’t know how this compares to the durability of other mats, as everything basically falls apart as soon as you take it out of the package anymore.
