Would Highly Recommend this Desk and Bargain Buddy
I ordered this desk as a way to keep a bit more active than just sitting throughout the day, and it has completely met my expectations. I knew I wouldn't have resistance, and that's okay as I'm not looking to "work out" as I sit. The space of the desk is plenty large enough to hold everything I need (monitor, mouse, keyboard and all the miscellaneous items that end up on my desk - I do have a separate table that holds my cpu). However, I did have one small issue with a part but Bargain Buddy immediately contacted the manufacturer and got me a replacement part. I am very impressed with their quick and thorough customer service! So, if you're looking for something to help keep up your circulation through the day, this desk just might work for you.

Sturdy, easy to assemble, big desk, great.
I've very happy with this fitness desk. It was well packed and I found it easy to assemble, especially since the tools are included. It took me around 30 minutes to assemble. I found it to be sturdy and well-constructed. The desk space was ample. I have my laptop, a stack of books, two pictures, an open book, and a glass of water. You can use it as a standing desk as well, but it is a little low and I suspect over time your neck would get sore from looking down. There are two drawbacks. First, it is easy to pedal the bike, making it useful to any person, but, as another reviewer noted, you can't vary the resistance of the pedals. It might be difficult to really work up a sweat. I don't mind it, but it would be nice to add some resistance. Second, the seat, while adjustable, padded, and large, is a little uncomfortable. Of course, it is more comfortable than a bicycle seat.

Pedal broke in first month of use
Right side pedal came off due to poor/weak threading in arm. Still trying to figure out how to fix it. Very poor pedal materials selection.

Three Stars
Great design BUT the pedals have NO VARIABLE RESISTANCE which makes it unusable for me.

Great!
I work from home and I love this desk! I had to adjust it and so I would not have a sore backside, I’m 5’2” and this is perfect for me. The bike is silent and the desk doesn’t wobble when I peddle. It was missing the center piece but contacting LifeSpan fixed that issue. Looking forward to using this on my ten hour shifts to help with my restlessness! I know people with the more expensive model and to me this is just as good!

This was a really good purchase. It was cheaper than buying the bike ...
This was a really good purchase. It was cheaper than buying the bike seat AND a separate standing desk. I pedal, but also spend quite a lot of time standing at this desk. I added two small standing mats on either side of the floor support beam and have enough room to move and shift around. Also, I really like the cherry wood look desk top; it's roomy enough for my monitor, keyboard, coffee mug and a few pens - everything I want to keep in my work space (I have an additional desk and printer table in my office). The one thing I feel is missing, however, is a backrest for the seat. I notice that Lifespan sells an under desk bike (without the desk) which has what looks like the exact same seat component WITH a backrest. I think my desk would be perfect with one of those!

Paddle does not have resistance
It is very good as desk is bigger. But the paddle does not have resistance.
