Stack the Cats Board book – Illustrated, May 8, 2018

Stack the Cats is perfect for new readers. It has just the right about of new words along with familiar words and numbers as the story goes. It's the first book I ever heard my nephew read on his own, which was AMAAAAAAAAZING.

Love this book! The illustrations are adorable and so fun! My 9 month son loves the bright colors and cats, but when he is older I'm sure he is gonna enjoy the math theme as well. You could use it just as a counting book, but also to introduce more complex math concepts.

First, I had to read it every night at bedtime. Now, my 3 1/2 year old reads it to me! She loves counting the cats despite the fact we are both allergic! it's a cute book with adorable illustration. We love picking which cats we like, who is sleeping, who is winking, etc. There's also a secret cover under the jacket!

Both of my kids love this sweet book. We have several books by this author/illustrator. The 8.5 year old is a fan of the art in this one, and the 5 year old enjoys that and still appreciates the counting. It seems to me like a good one for toddlers just getting started with counting (also for any child who loves cats) so I have purchased an extra copy to give as a gift to my friend's two year old & I just know she's going to enjoy it.

Cats and counting - can't possibly get better than Stack the Cats for a 2 year old just learning his numbers. My son already had "cats" and numbers in his vocabulary, so this book is reinforcing two of his favorite ideas. With clean, simple illustrations he doesn't have any trouble following along. Our two cats better look out! Glad we don't have three, because three cats - stack!

The perfect gift for kids! The bright colors capture the imagination and the story entertains young readers with the adventures of these mischievous cats. Absolutely delightful. That the book subtly teaches beginning math concepts is an added bonus. Love it and have already bought more copies for gifting!

This is such a cute book for a child--especially if they have cats and are familiar with cat behavior. Stacked on each other, jockeying for space and attention. The drawing are simple but great for the little ones.

Book is really cute and creative, but the description I saw did say count to 10 and back again, which is a bit misleading! It isn't like a "1 cat, 2 cat, 3 cat...". It is kind of add/subtract instead. Like "Here's 1 cat, here's 3 cats, here's 4 cats" until it adds to 10, then it subtracts in increments too. So it isn't really beneficial in helping teach the concept of counting, but it is really cute and fun. The pictures are great and my daughter loves it!

A fun counting book! My son loves cats and noticing all the different colours, markings and expression of each cat in the book. He now tells stories about the personalities of each, taking on their own adventures!
