Product works extremely well.....pros and cons below
Overview:Overall works very well and produces a decent volume of air when coupled with the attached nozzle. I was concerned with several reviews saying warm air, as this is not a bonus when it comes drying automobiles and would lead to premature drying on the surface leaving spots but thankfully the "warm air" some have discussed is not my experience. Hose definitely gets warm but by the time the air leaves the motor and travels the 30' of hose I've had no issues thus far after about 10 uses. My car is an Audi R8 with Feynlab Ceramic so the nooks and crannies for water to hide are immeasurable but this machine does an excellent job clearing that out, not sure how much is due to the hydrophobic ceramic coatingCouple Cons to think about:- mine came damaged so it was returned and low and behold the second one had the cover where the hose attached smashed in. I kept it because it's a hassle but they need to package better. It's not rocket science....box gets dropped on the end and it smashes the end cap. Place a .2 piece of foam and solved-the hose is a little hard to maneuver- its loud!! Not sure if it's just the my car shape, intakes etc but I guarantee the db are well above hearing safe levels. Not the motor but the sound of the air when it hits the car.....buy ear plugs or you'll be suffering from hearing loss. Seriously needs a warning-cost is substantialPros:-never towel dry your car again-impressive volume of airOverall:If you're a detail freak and love a clean car and dont mind dropping the money it's a great purchase

Best investment ever!
This is the closest you can get to an industrial car wash dryer. Yes, it's expensive, but trust me it's worth it. I have been detailing car ls for about 20 years now and I've always been the leaf blower guy until I tried this thing out. You will need a 20 amp dedicated breaker and outlet and a 20 amp extension cord (nema 5r-20) to run it so you don't have to worry about tripping breakers in your home but other than that, you can't go wrong with the master blaster. One tip though, the included hose clamp is your best friend. If you think it's tight enough, tighten it some more with some vise grip pliers for added measure as the hose will blow off of the unit if it has the chance. Make sure the hose connector is all the way on the unit and place the hose clamp in the center of the connector and tighten up. This blower along with a CR Spotless deionizer is the best way to dry a car without scratching it up and without water spots. I hope my review helps you out.

(1) A crazy luxury for the homeowner / (2) Glad I bought it
Product hangs on the wall of my small, one-car attached garage.* USES *IN ORDER OF FREQUENCY. . . .(1) Instant, always-ready, hassle-free blowout of garage. So easy to use that I always use it, saving lots of cleaning time in the house.(2) Instant cleaning of my clothes, shoes, and mower after leaf pickup/lawn care.(3) Car drying and interior detailing. Works great; I endorse other reviewes.(4) Instant dust removal from furniture cushions. Bye bye, dust mites!Note that car drying is not what I most often use this for. In fact, its uses are limited only by the imagination.*PROS*(1) Insanely powerful, concentrated, targeted blast of air with no grit/contamination. *No leaf blower gives you the combination of volume and velocity you get with the Master Blaster, especially with its safety/control. I say that as an owner of a top-of-the-line Stihl backpack blower with 4 hp!*(2) Hangs out of the way by the garage door.(3) Instant on/off, click-and-done utility.(4) Generous hose length on wall-mount model.(5) Quiet operation except for the sound on the business end when cleaning hard objects.(6) You'll find a new use for it every day without even trying.(7) Made in the USA. Go to the MetroVac website and look at their "how it's made" video. Fun!*CONS*(1) Insanely expensive for a nice-to-have but not need-to-have item (for individual homeowner).(2) The hanging hose is bulky and gives a cluttered look to the garage.(3) Comes with a range of optional accessories, none of which I can figure out how to put on because of the clamp attached to the standard pointed concentrator (factory-mounted). This is no problem; the factory-attached accessory is the only one I'll need.

Preserve the paint's finish on your car! Buy this!
I was initially worried my plug in the garage would not be able to support this monster without constantly blowing the breaker, but using only 1/2 power (4hp) it seems to work just fine.I have a black 2003 Cobra convertible, and this is perhaps one of the best investments I have made in regards to protecting the finish on my car's paint. Drying the vehicle with towels, even microfiber, can be abrasive and leave minuscule scratches that can add up over time. If you take the time and energy to do a multi-stage paint correction (or pay a pretty penny to have it professionally done) you're going to want to preserve your paint's finish. This compressed air dryer completely dried my car within 20 minutes. You're also able to squeeze out water from all the tiny little nooks and crannies that hold that last little bit of water that slowly leaks that obnoxious little bead of water down a clean/dry area of your car (side view mirror, tail light covers, etc).I haven't run the machine at the full 8hp,as the 4hp has been more than enough. The machine itself is not super loud, but running the air over any given area of the car (especially the lines between body panels) gets pretty darn loud. Not unbearable, but sort of annoying after a few minutes. Removing the need to towel-dry my cars and preserve the mirror-finish on my cars is exactly what I was looking for, and this lil' baby delivered! Me gusta mucho!
