Not as good as the devil wears prada

Overall, I felt like the story was a little too contrived. The main character(Andy) seems to live very much in her head and as a result everyone else in the books read like caricatures. It was enjoyable, but not earth shattering. The first book had a better story line.

Unlike its earlier story, devil wears prada, it fails to get hold of the reader. and believe me, i have taken full month to complete it. Dont know but it is a bit boring or you can say its just OKAY.

I had not read Devil Wears Prada, but had watched the movie featuring Anne Hathway. Based on that I bought this book, but I could not bear to get past the first 100 pages! The writing is so monotonous and repetitive, it is tiresome and frustrating to read such a book. More often than not, I felt like screaming and wishing that I could give the author a shake and tell her to get on with the story instead of adding unnecessary details to prolong the book. I found this book to be a glorified version of a Mills and Boons book, which should be burnt on the stake, as they are more harmful to the English language, the profession of writing, and young minds in general, than the witches at Salem were. If you want to read a romantic novel, pick up a Jane Austen novel ANY DAY over Revenge Wears Prada!

It is disappointing. Not much of drama that you expect in every page (of at least every 5 pages).If you have somehow realised amazon doesn't have anything else to offer you, you may pick this.

It was a good one time read book....

If you read "The devil wears Prada" and liked it, don't even think about buying this book. It'll just ruin how you felt about its prequel. The plot drags on and on and isn't the least bit funny. You can guess the ending pretty much a hundred pages into the book but then it continues for 320, long, boring, annoying pages.
