Bought this set to use while camping - I wanted something lightweight that worked well and dried quickly. And these work great! There was no smell when we first got them, but I still washed them before using, because I was raised to believe brand new things are still inherently dirty, for some reason. The texture is a little different from your standard fluffy bath towel, it kinda feels more like you're buffing yourself than toweling off, but it's not super weird or gross or anything, just...different. I don't mind it at all, and even the hubs, who is a bit of a princess about these things, didn't complain - and I for sure figured he would.And they're super-absorbent! We had a plumbing issue a couple weeks ago, a drainage line backed up, and one of the toilets kept running and eventually overflowed, flooding the bathroom, hall and kitchen. Thankfully it was clean water, but it was EVERYWHERE, and puddling at least an inch deep across the floor. I threw all the bath towels I had at that mess, and they did almost nothing to sop up all that water. Then I remembered I had this towel in my gym bag, so I put it to work. It sucked up more water than 6 of my big, high-quality, princess-approved bath towels. I was impressed!

SO it's lightweight and pretty absorbent but you can't just grab two ends of the towel and rub it across your back w/o feeling a skin burn. It feels smooth and soft to the touch but it's made of synthetics so I think it makes micro lacerations or something. If you have very sensitive more mature skin, you'll want to dab rather than scrub with this.

Bought them to take overseas while traveling in Southeast Asia. Hotels there do not provide washcloths, so having the bonus washcloth was really nice. We used these as extra towels for the beach and other expeditions. They are large and very absorbent. No initial smell, although I did wash and air-dry before we packed them for travel. They worked really well! Bought in pink for my daughters. Would definitely buy again.

I didn’t get to use these while on my cruise bc I fell after a broken stair tripped me and I messed up my foot and wrist but my sister used the towel as a vomit shield on the cruise And she said it worked great to keep people from seeing her vomit in a bucket.

Love the towels and hanging loops, but hate the mess bag it came in. They really need to redesign it with better mesh, instead of that cheap plastic mess that scratches your hands and other things. Love the towels, so I picked up a new mesh bag. But now I'm out more cash then I would have if I would have bought another brand with a good mesh bag.

The big one is larger than a bath towel. These towels absorb by holding it in place. Not like a towel where you rub it on your body. The little one is big enough to dry your face or hair, but doesn’t wrap around the head. I take it to the gym and I love it.

The cloth is very thin and does not slide over your body. It sticks to one place and very difficult to dry your body. It saturate quickly and does not dry that fast.

I needed a nice absorbent towel for summer camp and pool use. This towel is BIg, and absorbent. It does not take a lot of room when rolled. It dries quickly as well.
