Great love sparkling water. So easy to set up & don’t have to but big bottles from the store. Will try with the syrups later- but tbh as a sparkling lover it’s great as is.

We have had this for a while now and it is fantastic. We don't use the syrups but make our own. Perfect fizz and customisable for lemonade, we use a gravity water filtration system so this may be part of it but the water tastes nice and not like some sparking water that you can get that tastes metallic. It is also great when you need some fizzy water when making pancakes you don't have to buy single use plastic bottles or run to the store. It is very slim and compact in design. We are still on the original canister and purchased at the start of autumn last year. The canisters can be recycled and easy to replace as at most supermarkets and the bottle that comes with it can also be recycled once expiration date hits. However one bpa free bottle every 4 years compared to multiple single use bottles in that time is a winner for us.

Love this. Encourages you to drink more water simply by fizzing up the tap water. Will save you heaps after purchase cost if you used to buy fizzy bottled water. I use it daily. No idea if adding the CO2 fizz to the tap water makes it acidic for the teeth. Does a dentist know?? Even so, has to be better than not drinking enough water or sugared stuff....

Simple to use and effective. Not sure it is particularly cost-effective compared to buying sparkling water from a supermarket, but certainly it reduces our plastic recycling. Fun to use, nice looking and fits the neatly and unobtrusively.

The machine is exactly like my parents had when I was a child and soda stream was a new thing out altogether. The only difference is it is lighter and slides around the kitchen counter which makes it hard to use. It litterally has no rubber feet. The bottle didn't lock in place when I first used it as this terra one is not a twist into place one. So you just push it upwards and it locks into place.... or in this case didn't or didn't stay locked in place. I pushed the button and woosh. Flooded everywhere. Was not impressed. Once I got the hang of making sure it was locked up in place I pressed it 3 times. The water was hardly fizzy at all. So next time I pressed it 4 times and it did make a slight difference but still wasn't all that fizzy. Definately not as fizzy as a can from the shop. Have you ever dried to drink a can that has been open a few days? Yep, that is what it was like once I added the pepsi max syrup. A 3 day old, flat drink that you coukd tell had a slight bit of fizz hanging on in there for dear life! I tried it for just sparkling water and yes, it is much better suited for just making water sparkling. But even then, sparkling is not exactly fizzy. There is a difference between the two. So if you only want it for sparkling water then it is good for you. If you want it to replace cans of drink like pepsi max then it may be a bit dissapointing. We found the pepsi max was bitter too but that isn't down to the machine and this review is about how this machine works etc. In short, good water sparkle, flat, 2-3 day old equivalent opular fizzy drinks. I haven't tested it on any other syrups out there. If I find that other drink syrups allow it to stay fizzy once added and don't taste bitter, I shall update this review. As a hole I woukd recomend it if you do not have high expectation.

Make sparkling water, make Pepsi, make sprite, I love how convinient this is. Good for people who frequently like a good amount of pop, use it as a mixer for drinks or pop even with their tea at the end of the day. Saves a lot of money in the long run, the gas tank lasts a long time and when you replace/refill the tank, you save money, I think it's like £12? (it's been a while since replacing the gas tank) rather than if you were to buy it online, I think the original price of the gas tank is £30-£40?, which I feel is a good incentive to keep the canister. The syrups ofc are pricey at £3 each(but you can get bundles which I recommend) , but you get a 1L bottle with the soda stream, and each syrup, gives you 10L worth, considering your usual 1L bottle is £3, one use only, it's a pretty good deal. With the soda stream and syrups, I genuinely cannot taste the different than if I had bought a bottle, it's great!

Wanted one for so long but they weren't on sale. White one looks great and matches my kitchen. Excited for not having to buy so many plastic bottles of water 😉

Great, makes brilliant sparkly water

Enkla handgrepp för både vattenflaska och gaspatron. Inget skruvande, bara tryck. Jag använder bara kranvatten, d v s tillsätter ingen smak efteråt. Bra med komplett kit: Maskin, gaspatron och vattenflaska, så att man kan komma igång direkt. Tydlig manual. Vattnet verkar behålla kolsyran bra t ex över natten i kylskåp.

Nouvelle Sodastream avec embouchage spécifique qui ne convient pas à toutes les bouteilles de la marque. Le mode de fonctionnement diffère aussi des autres Sodastream. Cette remarque n'a rien de négative, il faut juste penser à acheter les bouteille qui vont avec. L'appareil est relativement petit, gain de place. La mise en gaz s'effectue en positionnant la bouteille et en la poussant. Simple et efficace, j'en suis très satisfaite.
