I have 10 of these so far. Very easy app to use. a few downsides but still better to have these than other cameras because of it's multiple features. Hopefully, it gets an update/fix. I wish I could download days of footage without removing SD card. You can only record footage while playing it and the fastest speed is 2x. Wish there was a way to just download the day(s) footage from app and also watch faster speed. The motion detection is tricky and temperamental; It gravitates towards light and the human body option is not true, it doesn't differentiate. Need to be mindful of placement. It also doesn't move up and down on its own for motion detection; only side to side. You can't use night vision if you have the camera behind the window; the lights reflect off the glass. Too easy to unplug the camera, should be a way to have backup power via battery. I also wish you could set different alarm sounds for certain cameras and alerts. Also mic has static feedback if you have it near any other device (DVD player, modem, game console, tv, etc.). The 2-way volume needs to be higher in my opinion and you should be able to play an alarm sound through the camera.

I own two cameras from Crestin. They've worked fine for 1.5 years. Recently, the app has started having issues. It just closes for no reason. Because of this, the cameras no longer work. They turn on, but there is no way to use the app to review the footage or make changes to the settings. I've reached out to Crestin and told them about this, and they've offered to refund the cameras, but once I agreed to the refund, they've completely stopped responding to my emails. These cameras were a complete waste of money once the app no longer works. The attached photo shows the reviews for the Crestin app, and the other is the window you see when the app crashes sometimes.Don't waste your money like I did. Good product, but terrible app, and terrible support.

It took 5 minutes to connect, you select security and then the proper camera in the crestin app. It connected to alexa quickly and shows on tv's. The picture is good and the price is great. The movement is quick and the motion tracking works really well. The night vision is very crisp and bright.These are far superior to the blink cameras that amazon forced on me as a replacement for my cloud cams, far, far better. Unfortunately I had to come back and change this review. I bought 3 cameras and 1 will not connect. I finally, after trying 15 times to connect it, got it to connect to my wifi extender, even though the camera and my phone were right next to the router. Not sure what that was about but it finally works, just a little slow on the connection.

Got as a pet cam to see my cats when I went out of town! Works great and was easy to set up. The only thing I didn't realize was that the camera doesn't allow you to rewind and view footage. You can watch a live feed from your phone and you can turn on motion sensors so it will take a screenshot of whoever walks in front of the camera. Still a great product for the price!

Not working for Android I have a Samsung

I wasn't expecting much from a camera sub $20. I had it hooked up, connected and functional within a few min. I was able to sync it to the Tuya Smart App that we use for some other smart devices we have in our home. The Tuya integration also means that it works with Alexa! We have 2 of these cameras now and thinking about getting a few more.

Great camera with a clear picture and smooth panning. The app could use an upgrade to some friendlier user design, but it’s alarming how many people will not attempt to click on other words on the page before giving up and writing a bad review. As you can see in my screenshot, there are multiple category options on the left side. To activate this security camera, click on ‘security’ and it will bring up the security camera options.Apparently some folks saw the words ‘electrical’ ‘lighting’ ‘security’ and were unable to comprehend that these are product categories instead of random words on the screen. Yikes. Anyway, it’s a great <$20 camera and if you have a modicum of technological literacy, the set up is simple and straightforward.
