Get This Over the Competition
My primary use-case scenario is hanging out with toddlers, at parks, stores, picnics, etc.. They like to dilly dally. I view the main competition as the "zero chair", the "BTR stool" and the "Walkstool". If your use-case is similar, then you should get this chair over its competitors for these reasons:- This one has 4 legs, not 3. It is more stable.- The lightweight camping stools (chair zero, etc. ) take way too long to put together. This packs and unpacks in about 5 seconds, with a satisfying click, like putting together a sniper rifle.- This is telescoping, which means it provides good height and packs quickly into a backpack.- I believe this hits the goldilocks zone between the BTR and the Walkstool: lighter than the walkstool and more durable than the BTR chair, and much, much cheaper than both.- Did I mention it was cheap? You could get 4 of these and leave them in the car for the price of the other stools.I am constantly, throughout the day, packing and unpacking this stool as go on small adventures with the kids. This packs and unpacks in a satisfying way and literally saves my ass. I believe Amazon were a real store and you could hold and compare all the fancy stools, the choice would be obvious. However, it's easy to drawn into ounces of weight saving, brand name, etc. when it comes to internet shopping.

Sturdy and it Works!
I was worried ordering this stool before there were any reviews, but my worries were unfounded. I was looking for a small lightweight stool that I could use while waiting in line for 2 hours for a concert venue to open for general admission in a few months. I am over 70, 5'10" and (gasp) 210 lbs with replaced knees and hips. Much to my delight this stool was so easy to set up and collapse, just pull on the legs to set up and push to collapse. Most of all, I was able to sit on it, felt very stable, and using my hands on the top of the legs to shove myself up, I was able to stand without assistance, yay! I feel much better prepared to occupy my space is the "normal" and much younger world, thanks!

Super sturdy, super light.
Sometimes when I am out hiking, I need to sit down for a few minutes to catch my breath or rest after a big climb. I didnt want anything big, bulky or heavy to put in my small daypack. This little chair was the perfect answer. Its just over a pound in weight but as sturdy as they come. I weigh 170# and can sit comfortably and secure on this little gem. The folded size is like a compact umbrella, but when the chair is opened and legs extended, I am not cramped and can actually stretch out my legs. Its very STURDY!!! I saw some reviews wherein the complaint was that the legs dont retract after being extended....well, yes they do. While the seat is still spread open, the legs will not retract. You need only collapse the seat and gather the extended legs together, THEN push them back into the closed position. (That is a pretty simple fix.)I dont know how much I will use the carrying case. Its basically a thin sleeve with a handle. Perhaps if I was keeping this in my car, I would use the cover. But kept in my daypack, there is no need for it.This would be perfect for tail-gaiting parties, picnics, campfire, watching field games, etc. Even a toddler can carry this little chair with ease. Its so convenient to have a small, sturdy seat when a larger, bulky one would be too much to carry. I would be a little hesitant (as a former back-country backpacker) that the weight would be too much to pack, but if youre not going out for an extended trip, this would be perfect.Im happy with it. It is exactly what I needed. I think its a great value for the money.

Fairly light and comfortable but know your limits.
Main reason I purchased this was for quick hikes down my local trail when I want something quick and easy to setup! It does not disappoint for quickness to deploy, 10 seconds tops. The weight is decent, the metal used for the legs is fairly thick, the seat cushion feels heavy duty too. I weigh 155 and am 5'10" so the height is perfect and as stated. It does not feel wobbly and I have had no problems with the telescopic legs feeling like they would collapse when sitting on it. I love how portable this is and how secure it feels when setup as well as the speed of setting it up!!!My gripes are with the telescopic legs, while I love this feature they are very finicky to fold back in! And the mesh bag it comes in is cheap, mine frayed and ripped on the first outing. It did however feel like it would collapse in when my friend, who weighs 200 lbs even, sat upon it so I think anyone over 175 should know the limits of this item. Other than that I really like this stool!! Hope this detailed review helps some people out.
