JEACENT AC Window Air Conditioner Support Bracket Light Duty, Up to 85 lbs

I purchased this for my new air conditioners. It’s certainly strong enough. I have used A/C safe bracket in the past. This bracket like that somewhere. Designed to go on to window sill, so air conditioner can sit on it. They do support the air conditioner. But this bracket is better than what I have purchased from other brands. It has longer shelf which holds the unit in place steadily. The shelf length is 13.6 inch. I can trust the windows to keep them safe. Conversely, other brands seems a little bit short to give enough support. It is quite easy to put them in as instructions. The instructions provided with the mount give a pretty good detail as how to install the bracket on different types of sills. It also shows how to adjust the rubber foot for the correct angle easily. You just need to place max angled (about 45 degree) end of leg flat against underside of body. Then the rubber foot won’t be able to slide off. But make sure your sill can place the concave block which is about 1 1/2 inch. Also, the window to the outside wall needs 3-4 inch at least. I really like the ease of installation and quality. This support worded perfectly for its purpose.

This support bracket is not only very easy to install but because of the quality of construction, it truly does support my new window A/C unit without even coming close to "straining"!! I have absolutely NO DOUBT that it WOULD SUPPORT AN A/C UNIT 3+ THE WEIGHT OF MINE!! if you're looking for a support bracket that couldn't possibly be easier to install and IS STRONG!! THIS IS THE ONE TO BUY!! I can promise that you WILL NOT REGRET BUYING THIS A/C SUPPORT BRACKET!! Even if you have the old style "L" shaped bracelet that screws into the side of your place ONLY. You'll have a LOT MORE PEACE OF MIND BY REPLACING YOUR OLD "L" STYLE BRACE WITH THIS ONE!! The reader can easily see by looking at the photos. That it WILL ADJUST TO ANY SIZE A/C UNIT!!

Easy of assemble. Works well. It’s hold my ac for a years. For sure it’s worth the money.

Solid gear. Simple design, but the kit comes with shims and clear instructions to install it.

this was a literal nightmare to install because the instructions are a dumpster fire. they’re incredibly confusing and straight up contradict themselves (center the bubble.. but make sure the bubble is towards you?!) air conditioners need to tilt down a bit to allow for drainage and i’m 98% sure the instructions try and make you level it straight. on top of that it take a lot of finagling to get the bracket to actually hold itself up and not immediately slip. i didn’t have this trouble at all with a larger no drill bracket i got for my bedroom. i HIGHLY suggest watching the videos and throwing the instructions away. also the design of the hex screws and how you have to either install this in a window you can reach from outside or precariously hang out your window while trying to slide the brackets together and secure them is ridiculous. what an unnecessarily overly complicated product. i also would not listen to their “measure 3 inches off center” if the weight of the AC isn’t balanced - this all depends on your window size and bottom of the AC unit. overall i finally got it installed and secure but would not recommend this there are way better options

I found this easy to install and sturdy enough to very well support my window AC. Since I put in the AC in the summer and take it out of the window in winter to avoid drafts, this support makes the job so much easier. I don't have to worry about dropping the AC unit out of the window putting in or out. Installing this support has resulted in a lot less stress for me, twice a year! I only put a 5,000 BTU unit on it, so I can't say how it would do with a larger unit, but it does well with my size unit. I am happy with this product and the price was reasonable.

This is my 2nd order of the same Jeacent Universal AC Window Air Conditioner Support Bracket Light Duty, Up to 85 lbs. I received the first one on May 28, 2019. No problem to install. I ordered and received a 2nd Jeacent light duty, up to 85 lbs air conditioner support bracket on July 5, 2019. I drilled those big holes into my window sill and installed the horizontal portion of the bracket. After much frustration on the very same type of window as my first installation I got the bright idea of measuring the product dimensions on the first and second products I received. The length of the horizontal member that screws into your window sill is the same on both products. But the length of the angled member that supports against the wall is just 8 1/2" on my second order and was 9 3/4" on the identical looking product received 6 weeks earlier. This angled member cannot be installed under my particular window. Not I have to install the hard part that required all those long holes in my window sill, repackage this product and send it back to Jeacent. Then I get to shop for another product, hope the holes in the window sill will be in the same location as on the Jeacent, or just forget about the whole mess and return the air conditioner. This was an idiotic move on the part of Jeacent, and I don't appreciate their wasting my time and my gas. It seems that manufacturers think their customers have nothing better to do than deal with their worthless products.
