Modern Guitar Method Grade 1 Paperback – December 1, 2015

This book was perfect for my daughters beginning guitar lessons. Very user friendly and easy to understand.

This has more helpful information than Hal Leonard guitar method books imo.Somehow it’s harder to read than Hal tho. I don’t know why. You can read Hal one very casually. But this book explains more details.More songs. Those songs are a bit more melodic to imo

This is so perfectly designed! Even I could learn from it! I wish only that it had a chart with all beginner string lessons on one or two pages so I could see the whole picture! I am a visual learner! Instead, I have to return to previous pages to find each string’s cord, letters & so forth! Overall, this book is a 9 for me! I bought for a child, but I like it too!

My kids guitar teacher starts every kid off with this book. I am even using it myself to learn guitar as an adult and it makes learning guitar easy and clear. Awesome book if your looking to learn guitar.

This is an OK book for beginners

This is the same book I started with in 2nd grade. By 3rd grade I was playing in my music class. I still have my 1rst guitar and it still plays and sounds great. It was made in 1954. LOL ya I'm 72. But this is the book U want for your kids. The make a 1, 2, 3, & 4. Think, if they have been making this book all those years it must be good.

This is a great book if you are learning guitar for the first time! Moves at a great pace. Easy to follow. I am looking forward to purchasing the second Book! The first few pages cover things like holding the guitar, tuning, and using a pick. It is a Great book if you have an interest in learning to read music!
