Eastman Outdoors Portable Kahuna Burner with XL Pot and Wok Brackets with Adjustable and Removable Legs

I've used this thing for both camping and cooking at home for parties and absolutely love it. I've had a 24" disco/cowboy wok for a few years and would usually throw it on the fire with a few rocks or use my old school kettle propane burner, which was always a balancing act. I finally bought this burner mid-summer and have used it about a dozen times now and all I can think about is, "what the heck have I been doing the 3 years before having this thing?"This burner combined with the discada/cowboy wok, is hands down one of the best camp cooking and even home cooking setups for large meals. Not to mention you can piece together a kit for a fraction of the price of those brands that cater to overlanders who charge upwards of $700 for a kit similar to what you can build out with this and this is more versatile as you can still heat a big kettle pot up with it and it's just as compact.As far as build quality, you can see there is a lot of thought and care put in to this unit. It's very sturdy and collapses down to almost nothing making it easy for packing in the vehicle for camping. This finish is very nice and holds up well to abuse. The design for the cradle is probably the best you can get for being universal between a kettle and a discada, keeping both very stable. The burner also puts out a lot of heat and distributes it very well.If I lost this thing, cause i don't think it's ever going to break, I would buy a replacement almost immediately. This item deserves all 5/5 stars.

Wow it burns like a rocket engine.

I previously purchased a GasOne brand burner but this is far superior in terms of actually controlling the flame and flame distribution.I use this for wok cooking and have it setup outside pretty much all year (with a cover when not in use), and, aside from some slight rust on the feet and the burner itself, it has held up without issues, even having it outside over the winter.It is also quick to assemble/disassemble to take camping or on a picnic. It may be a bit short for taller folks but for me at 5'5" it is a great height.

The burner is really hot when turned to full power and can be regulated perfectly even to a tiny flame, just what is required.The device can easily be packed and transported, the legs can be removed and stored under the burner, fixed by screws.For European customers it is a little expensive because taxes need to be paid.If you want to buy, I can recommend the burner for wok and with a steel plate for bbq. Don't forget to buy a fitting adapter for the US LPG connector, depending on the country you live!

There's not much more that I can add to the other positive reviews on this item. It has excellent output capacity and a stir-fry can be made in a little over 3 minutes. Used with a carbon steel wok, the food is imparted with that authentic Chinese restaurant flavour it gets from such high heat, fast cooking, and little bits of fat being caught on fire. The wok also is great for other cooking vessels as well and I find the brackets fine for pots or other pans. I find the adjustable legs very sturdy and strong. The only suggestion I would make to manufacture the gas flow valve closer to the burner itself to be more easily manipulated while cooking. I would highly recommend this burner and I do not regret my purchase.
