Amazing! Totally worth it
This is a really well designed massager. It is made of very high quality material so It doesn't bend when you are using it and it gets deep into muscle and in between bones. It takes a while to be able to notice the benefits though. The first few times you will probably be moving it around seeing how to reach those painful knots, but once you get used to it, you will see how effective it is to relax those troublesome areas.Although I have a few massagers, this was the only one that was able to release some tension points that I've had for years.I was hesitant about spending the money because it is definitely not cheap, but I'm very glad I decided to do it.

Effective, light-weight, compact device
I was impressed with the quality of the product and how light it was immediately upon opening it. With a wide range of uses based on different positions and using different parts of it, I've found it to be very, very helpful and one of my primary go-to massage tools. It can feel so nice that I have to intentionally stop myself to give my body a break and not have too much pressure! :)It can be challenging to get the right pressure in the desired way in certain parts of the body, but to be fair, it's virtually impossible for any device to do everything well. I've found what works well for me. For instance, the deeper trigger point, targeting my lower middle back tends to be most effective while using it against the back of a chair rather than laying on the ground. With the softer, curved side, I find it stretches and aligns my upper back spine better than even the Chirp wheels do. I find these to be complementary with the wheels good for stretching in general, but this massage puts more precise pressure in particular areas, which can be very helpful. It's so light and compact yet soft that it's easy to carry around the house. I'm curious if it would trigger a manual search of luggage if I travel with it for work since it has a metal core (it should have no problems clearing, but I'm guessing it may get flagged on imaging due to its unique shape). I haven't traveled since I had it yet, but its size and efficacy would make it a nice travel companion.I struggled with the price, as others have noted. It's not cheap. But it is good quality with a long warranty. The customer service is very responsive, as I asked a range of questions. I'd be lying if I said I didn't consider returning it in the 30 day window purely because of price. I love this massager, but with some other big purchases around the same time, I was debating returning it to save some money. I kept it, and I really don't regret it. The metal core, great rubbery coating, warranty, multiple applications, and all the development, planning, and testing that had to go into it likely drives this price. I haven't found anything similar to it. So while I'd still like to see a lower price point for broader accessibility, the device itself is very, very good and one I recommend.

Amazing tool that gets deep into problem areas in your muscles!
I love this tool so much! I was having a lot of trouble with my upper trapezius muscle and using this tool helped to relieve that pain and fix the problem. I move the tool around to hit any part of my body that is causing me problems. I found it particularly useful for getting deep into the glutes. I brought it in to show my massage therapist and she immediately bought one and loves it too! It's worth every penny!

Great for tight muscles
Great sturdy product, like that there’s multiple configurations to use it with. It definitely hurts when it digs into muscle knots but after using it my muscles feel looser and less sore. The shape also allows you to find more ways to use it on tight muscles.

Short term pain, long term reward
The headline is intentional, as this device is not for those who do not appreciate the wisdom of this type of therapeutic device. Much like a theracane, it requires some trial and error, self learning about trigger points and how they respond, and understanding your personal challenges/issues.Just to be clear, I am not a workout warrior or fitness model/influencer. I am old dude who hurts more from doing nothing than something and wakes up sore and stiff unless I regularly exercise. I have a couple problem spots that result in chronic tendonitis (diagnosed tendonosis in rotator cuff and bicep as well as quad, hip flexor, and gluteus medius). It took me some time to figure out how this device and the other one they sell, as I bought both. This device was probably used as a torture device sometime in the past. But it also helped me dig into those areas and relieve some of the tension and increase the mobility while reducing the pain (will not eliminate the pain).I won't lie, I seriously considered returing this thing as the first few attempts were mostly pain. But with a little patience and tolerance of suffering, I found some uses for these that I have not found with a theracane, lacrosse ball, trigger point ball, etc... So it's staying in my bag of torture instruments. One piece of advice, find a decently sized open space on the floor with a little bit of padding to offset the discomfort you are about to inflict on yourself. Like most of these types of devices, some expert guidance is beneficial. After that, you just have to experiment carefully with an awareness of good, necessary pain vs pain that leads to injury. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is lack of guidance. The short video is a good start but honestly, there could be a series of them illustrating the different ways to position yourself and the device to apply pressure in the right spot and achieve the desired muscle release.(posted same review on their other device as I bought both).
