They held up and worked
I needed paper bags and got these and they did their job as intended. Held the items so weight wasn’t an issue and quality was good. They arrived without tears or rips. So I was pleased with that and how they worked out for my needs.

Paper Bags A Plus
These paper bags are perfect for holding the raw kitchen waste I have to dispose of in my green trash bin. They are sturdy and hold veggie waste just fine. As long as you do not pour liquid in them they will not tear or rip. As for a "green" bag for other things they are perfect. Excellent if you are looking for an alternative to plastic.

Good bags
We use them to hold shredded documents. Occasionally a couple will come not sealed at the bottom so add a little glue and they work fine.

Good for trash
I have decided to do my part and helping the environment, so I had decided to use this for my trashcan. They have working out good, I just make sure I don’t put a lot of wet waste in my trash bin. I feel better doing my part helping our environment.I am editing this post due to the fact that they deleted part of my post….the part when I was asking why do they use two things of plastic to wrap around the bags if we are supposed to be cutting back on plastic. Also deleted a photo that I had posted. I am re-posting my photo. When shipping heavy items you do not need to wrap them in plastic you could use one secure heavy duty plastic strap. I hope this one is not deleted.

Needed these to put shredded paper in for recycle bin pickup
Since very few stores use paper grocery bags any more, I was buying a couple when and wherever I could find them (one of my local grocery stores has these in the gift wrap area - they were about $2/each. I've been trying to clean out a 10+ year accumulation of files, shredding a lot of it, but don't want to put loose shredded paper in my recycle bin for trash pickup (even though trash company said that would be okay). I didn't agree, so found these which are perfect for my somewhat unusual use! I've found that they stay closed if I fold the sides together at the crease, fold top of sides in, then fold the top down 3 or 4 times.

Used for collecting garden debris for composting.
I use these bags as a cost effective way to collect compostable material from my garden. Unlike plastic bags that need to be emptied, I can put them in the compost bins. They are much easier to use and transport to the bin than the large, awkward, brown paper lawn bags from hardware and home improvemnt stores. I double-bag for heavier, denser yard & garden debris (the tall lawn bags are double layered).

Not Grocery Store Quality
Since I like my groceries packed in paper bags, I purchased my own when most stores stopped offering them. This weight bag tears very easily. For groceries they were acceptable when placed inside a plastic bag for handles and extra bottom support; but for newspaper recycling these were too easily torn and proved frustrating. I'm seeking stronger bags next order.
