Pieces came in undamaged from shipping, fortunately. I'm 27f and worked on this by myself while very sick (I don't recommend, that was a highly psychotic.)The instruction manual was easy enough to follow, however there was on step that could have been more clear (the divider between the cubbies on the top). I ended up having to carefully undo what I did, but I managed to fix it.The one issue I had was with one of the holes for the metal pieces that attach to the inside of the cubby. The hole to screw this in was unthreaded.I had my bf do some DIY the next day (I was veerryy sick), and he drilled new holes to make it more secure.Overall, I really to love this piece of furniture and will have to get a rug or something underneath it to keep from moving.

Pros: 1)Easy to assemble with clear step by step instructions. Took approx. 3-4 hrs. to carefully unpack from box & assemble from A to Z 2)Everything was well packed & undamaged. 3)All that was needed was the supplied star screwdriver ( nice touch & I'm guessing supplied to keep people from over torqueing & damaging/breaking assembly hardware ). They even supply you with extra hardware parts in case you do manage to break something. The finish ( grey in my case ) is very nice & seems sturdy enough. I often eat my meals in front of the TV using the longer top raised up like a table & up to now no problems. Love the drawers underneath to keep remotes etc. & the storage the 2 raised table tops afford in the underneath compartments.Cons: 1)The compartment bottom under the table tops isn't wood, it's a thin slide in panel installed during assembly that's easily broken if you accidentally put anything too tall to fit in the compartment & close the top, or too heavy such as trying to support your own body weight while leaning into it which I did with one hand during assembly to get at the screws. 2)I'm sure you can reverse the large top & small tops ends relative to the drawers, however if you follow the instructions it doesn't give you that option & by the end of assembly once you've realized it, it really is quite involved to remove the 2 ends of the coffee table & reverse the compartment section around to have the smaller top on the left when you are facing the drawers. ( for a "L" shaped sofa example with the "L" on the left ) The instructions as is make the small top end up on the right when you're facing the drawers okay for a sofa with a "L" shape on the right.This is a very nice, very functional coffee table, well finished for the money. No regrets & would buy again.

I had my eye on this table for awhile. I wanted to try a lift top table and it works great. My husband said it was easy to assemble. It’s got lots of storage. The price varies quite a bit, from $135-209 so watch before you purchase.

We've been wanting one of these coffee tables for years but the price was always out of reach. The price on this coffee table is reasonable, and I couldn't wait to get it out of the package.Product was packaged well, with a lot of Styrofoam and protective paper to cover the many many pieces. The instructions were super clear, with descriptive pictures and intuitive steps. At first I thought, what kind of cheap stuff am I going to get. To my surprise, the many many pieces are well constructed, the tools include wood glue for the dowelling and a decent screwdriver. I still opted for my own electric screwdriver and hand driver, but that's because I have them!The drawers feel pretty light, but they slide nice, and come with good hardware. The table tops are solid, and the instructions allow for a couple of different configurations. The springs seem sturdy, we'll see once I start playing computer games how well they stay up!We do not have children; as such, there are no rug rats jumping off the table or trying to using as a diving board.So far, I give it a 5 out of 5 simply because it is exactly what we paid for, and it meets all requirements perfectly. I would definitely buy another one!
