The media could not be loaded. So I do not use these how they are expected to be (attached to the back of the TV), I use these for a variety of things. I also love the DYI programming feature as the out of the box styles are okay to bad. But I programmed several cool flowing rainbow ones or even some good Halloween flows.Namely:* I use them to decorate and light up my office/gaming area. It really helps with my ADD to have something pretty to stare at while the wheels in my brain grind on a work task. Especially the flowing rainbow colors I find calming and hypnotizing.* I use them to light up my backyard during bonfires. Helps add some great colors to my backyard, especially with a fence or a tree to bounce the colors off of.* I definitely dont think Govee expected this, but I also use them for camping. I tent camp at RV sites at state parks, so I still have access to electricity. And then I'll use them to light up my shelters or the campsite. Mix a few glasses of wine, a good bonfire, and these lights can be a super relaxing evening.For the price tag of between 40-60(depending on sales), these items are amazing. I think they are a great value for that price. They brighten up anywhere I use/bring them. The colors are vibrant, and the DYI functions are cool (if a bit obtuse to figure out).I do wish the DYI had a bit more functionality with dimming or brightness levels, along with syncing multiple of these ropes to transfer the colors from one to another.BUT, I highly recommend them. I'm not exactly gentle on a lot of my gear, but so far everything has held up really well.Govee, I'm really hoping you'll make a longer version and one more designed for outdoors (rain proofing the power controls, having a 180% arch design rather then the current 90% design, and add attachment points for hanging or adjusting hanging on tree's/fences/walls ect ect).

The media could not be loaded. Really a 4.5/5It’s meant for 48 and up but I decided to try it on my LG C2 and it works! Well kinda. The tube kinda has a weird angle. I really don’t recommend it on the 42. I had to use a lot of adhesive since the extra length kept falling. I think regular LED strips are the way to go. Govee needs to include replacement adhesives.

I have Govee RGBIC TV Lights on all of my TVs and am happy with all of them but installing the original immersion version had one slight annoyance with all of the extra cord with no lights that was afforded for "rounding" corners. Hiding these resulting loops was an unwelcome hindrance but worth it in the end because they work and look great.These are a giant step up. Color and brightness are fantastic but the best part is the installation kit that features clips/tracks that you install on the back of the TV and the incredible flexibility of the light rope itself makes it a simple, clean installation despite the TV size. Very happy.

Purchased this to replace a led tape light that I had and am pleased. It is much brighter than other basic led light strips. Went back and purchased a second one as well for another tv. Only have had a couple issues with the clips not sticking. I think this is partitially due to not using the cleaning application first. It does not wrap all the way around a 65" tv unless you move it inwards from where the instructions say to install. I moved min towords the middle of the tv and its close being on all four sides of the tv.

This was a challenge but it was also my fault. This product isn't for TVs with uneven backs nor is it for a 43 inch. I'm also impatient and didn't wait 24 hours before installing the strip. I've never done any mounting prior and making everything even was a chore. But, I made it work by reinforcing some of the mounts with electrical tape and improvising with the mount placement.I adore it. It brightens my room without blinding me. There's plenty of color choices and pairing it with my Alexa has made it even easier to use.

The adhesion is very weak. I cleaned off the entire back of the tv, put the brackets on, waited 24 hours like the instructions say, then installed the light strip and the brackets slowly fall off.I do like the lights but the brackets are very weak. I’ll be returning them and buying something different.

I bought these on sale and they are well worth it. The Govee app is pretty good and you could spend hours playing around with the customization options. I thought I might also put a strip on the edge of my desk but these are not ideal for that. I have one behind my monitor and one on the back of the couch in my office. I love them! But my wife didn't want them on our TV. She said it gives off a bachelor vibe. Perfect for my home office though!
