I bought this as a gift and it didn’t disappoint! The color is a perfect bronze, it’s sturdy and closes perfectly.

Perfect size
Everywhere I sit in the house I have a little box for my chap stick and dental floss. I have this on my foyer table for when I play with he dog. It is beautiful enough to sit out at my front entrance. The product is not made of wood but a resin if that matters to you. It does not matter to me. I may order another one for another location. They have many designs to chose from.

Gorgeous but not made well enough for $$
I've been eyeing this gorgeous heart shaped tree of life box for over a year now and finally splurged on it for my birthday. The excitement quickly plummeted when I opened it and saw the poor craftsmanship under the lid! It had these black chip flakes inside and the bottom wasn't smoothed out prior to painting apparently. Such a disappointment! I'll have to return it because I can't justify the price based on these flaws unfortunately. It's a shame because I'm absolutely in LOVE with the design.

Beautiful Craftmanship
Beautiful Craftmanship. Unfortunately received with one large piece broken - so needs to be packaged a little better. I did not return it as I was able to glue the broken piece and it's barely noticeable. Would buy from this vendor again.

Disappointing.
I bought this as a gift, but didn't end up giving it to the person for a couple of reasons. I specifically chose it for the antiqued brass tree design, but the one that I received was finished with a verdigris that was just too green. I may try to paint it myself and take it to a color that I like, but I shouldn't have to. Also, the lid fits too loosely, which is annoying. Of course, you can maneuver the lid so that it looks squared up, but as soon as you pick up the piece the lid will slide around a bit and be off kilter. I'm thinking that I can find a clear rubber band and help make the lid fit better but again, I shouldn't have to. Sadly, what I thought would be a great gift ended up being another project that I don't need (and may never get to).
