Love this new chlorine floater. Our old one was breaking down and getting sun rot. This one is larger and you can easily fit in 3 standard chlorine tabs. It's definitely a quality piece and very inexpensive. It's floating around my pool and helping it stay crystal clear! Feels like a quality, durable product.

The chlorine dispenser works as intended with a manual adjustment to dispense as much or as little chlorine as needed to keep your pool free from contamination. The price is very reasonable and delivery was timely. It floats well and water flows freely. It holds four large chlorine tablets so there is no need to fill daily.

Picked this up to replace another of a different brand but similar overall construction that had begun to fall apart.Regarding the failure of my old one — I don’t think it was due to UV/sun damage that the old one failed, but rather it seemed to be the chlorine itself that caused it to fail, based on the areas that became brittle and started cracking and falling apart.As such, I will be very interested to see how well this one holds up not just to UV but also to the apparent corrosive degradation potential of the chlorine tablets it is intended to hold. I will plan to come back and update this review if it ends up failing before a two year period. Honestly I’d like to see it last longer than that, but that’s about how long my last one survived, so that’s my bare minimum expectation.—-Update: this has not failed yet, but I only used it a year and a half, and it is significantly degraded. Very faded, and feels brittle. Still, it is working. I switched to using liquid chlorine in the middle of last year’s pool season, so I only pull this out to use pucks when going on vacation or if I need to add some CYA to the pool.Since it is still functioning, I only knocked off 1 star. But I would have liked to see the material maintain its finish and feel less brittle after only a year and a half of exposure in the pool, so I dropped the rating from 5 to 4 stars.

It's a adequate chlorine dispenser at a bargain price. Nuff said!

So in the last 6 months I have bought four chlorinators one of which was this product. The other three were all the same they're the classic one that we all grew up seeing. Go look at yours right now and I'll bet you the cap has broken tabs on it and then look at one hopefully if one is left and you can see the little holes in it if you tilt it to the side so it's made to break and it does that just perfectly. This one thank God, does not have those little holes on the tab and the clips on the cap that lock it in place or twice as big and durable as the other product. It's not made to break in a few weeks so you have to keep ordering them I will never buy a different kind other than this one ever again. I'm very cheap I have a problem throwing with away my money
