Different from Amazon brand but still a good CC cookie
No, this is not a duplication of the Amazon Brand chocolate chip cookies in the form of just being SOFT-BAKED. This is a critter all to itself. Amazon ought to come out with a soft-baked of its own to challenge this product, but as it is now, this cookie is in a league of its own. This is a nice alternative to the Amazon cc cookie and if one has been to the dentist recently and advised by the doctor not to be chewing on hard foods, this would be a nice product to have in the kitchen cabinet. No hard chomping necessary.Respectable texture, good flavor, no foul aftertastes, plenty of chocolate chips. A good cookie, and still at a good price, even though higher than the Amazon brand cookies. It should be noticed that Amazon is allowing this product to blend in with their own cookie offerings when you do a search. That is how I discovered this product, but one should also notice that the same thing does NOT occur for Nabisco, Keebler, Mrs. Freshley's or any other chocolate chip cookie offering. Just this Pillsbury product, and one can see why if you give it a try. This is a good cookie, especially considering it's in a package, bought from the Amazon store and not coming out of your own oven. Very close to what one would have from baking in your own kitchen.

Fresh and Soft
The cookies were Intact and Fresh. Being that they were Soft were a Big Plus for Me. But they were a little too sweet for me, so I didn't order any more.

These are the best-tasting cookies I have ever ordered online,
I bought these for my children because they are mini-size. They are so delicious. Soft, tasty and not like the ones at the store. They also come in little packets, so you can give your kids one individual bag to eat and they are happy to finish the whole packet and don't ask for more. They are mini-size, but my kids think a cookie is a cookie and didn't say anything about them not being a "big" cookie. So yummy too; I ate too many myself.

These cookies are bad. I'm sorry.
I'm not going to lie: these cookies suck. They're not nice. I don't think anybody could legitimately like them. If you live in the middle of no where and have no access to even gas station cookies, then I guess maybe you'd like these cookies?Otherwise, no. There are WAY better options out there. They taste like chemicals. They're pretty dry even though they look like they'd be nice soft cookies. Are they soft? Yeah. But they taste nasty, so...I would not suggest buying these. I bought like 7 packages because they were on sale and I do regret it. So many calories and they weren't even good... I'm sorry Pillsbury. Love your other stuff!

Most excellent! Delicious!
I have found my new soft chocolate chip cookie! Contrary to other reviews these Pillsbury Soft Baked Chocolate Chip cookies are absolutely delicious, certainly nothing like 'cardboard' or 'sawdust' as some have reported. These are soft, easy to chew, sweet & the real chocolate chips melt quite easily in your mouth, unlike the other grocery store brand 'Chipmates' I was eating that had these awful waxy chocolate flavored chips that couldn't melt if you put them under a heat lamp! Wonderful cookies with real chocolate chips and the cookie part is surprisingly sweet and flavorful, could even go on its own sans the chips that are so tasty. Try these! I was very surprised by the price for the level of quality.

I've had worse
Honestly, these really aren't that bad. They are REALLY small like the size of a quarter. which is probably the biggest downside. They're like half the size of a chips ahoy chewy cookie. And these taste relatively similar to those, if anything a little better. The processed chemically taste isn't that strong and they are really soft and chewy. Don't expect homemade fresh baked cookies or anything. for a processed cookie snack, they're actually pretty decent. Would buy again

No
It has been years since I had these. I used to love them. I don't know what they changed, but they're horrible. I bought 3 flavors.. chocolate chip, chocolate chip peanut butter and cinnamon toast... all are awful.None were good from first taste and all have the same weird unnatural after taste... like something you might expect if you accidentally got something in your mouth that is not edible. The evening and the entire next day after eating some of these my stomach was in fits. Nausea, bloating, gas, diarrhea, horrible cramping... you name it.It didn't even occur to me it might have been these things called cookies.. duh. Then, a few days later I had 3 of the chocolate chip, because I didn't want to waste the money I spent on them even though they taste bad. Woke up with all the same stomach problems.Writing this right now I feel like I need to puke. Stomach is cramping and tore up... again. Now, I know why... these things are toxic.Between the weird chemical after taste and these horrible stomach issues from just 3 cookies... something is terribly wrong with these things. They're not fit for even animal consumption.
