SBS 9ft Surf Leash for Longboard & Paddleboard

I do my daily SUP routine up to 27 Km sometimes. I love the length since it allows me to get off the board if I have to without the need to detach me from it. The construction is sturdy, elegant and yet very functional for my purposes.Buy one if you need it, no complains on my part.

So far so good on this longboard leash. Had it out once and was comfortable around the ankle.

It does the job as well as any other name brand leash without the expense of a name brand leash.

i usually have to grab a leash from the local surf shop because i don't want to wait for one to come in the mail, but I figured I'd see what was on line, came across SBS and have used the leash for about a week now and at first it was coiled up like new leashes are, but 3 surfs later and it was starting to relax and not get wrapped up. curious to see how long it lasts, I'm optimistic, it's really well made

just got it in the mail today. everything is good about the leash except for the shipping. the first time i ordered it, all i got was an empty box. i’m not sure if this was the fault of amazon or of santa barbara surfing but either way it was annoying. i got it sent again for free and got the leash that time.

The cord doesn't look like what shows in the product photo which has a funky bronze color but a more neutral grey translucent shade instead that I actually like better. The rest is as advertised good quality SS swivels have only used once yet looks durable enough. Lastly it comes in just a plastic bag no packaging at all unlike pictures on the website so not as good as a gift but no issue for an end user.

This leash has lasted for more than a year, surfing with my 8.4ft 2-3 times a week. I even used it on 6' days and suffered some few wipeouts and it remains solid, though the leash was almost new in those 6 ft days.While I won't recommend it on big days, it's a great value leash with premium quality. With care and NOT ditching your longboard, this leash could last more than a year surfing daily, even on 6ft days.

If u want a fight, buy this leash. Twists and knots! And when u think u won, when u stand up on the surfboard, it will get revenge and get right under your foot so u wipe out. Bad bad bad. I rather go without this knotting trash and lose my surfboard to the waves. Anti knot feature does not work.

I've had this leash for quite some time. I find it's easy to find with the yellow print and had always worked perfectly. Good performance for the price.
