Dangit, so close to being perfect
Okay, so let the pictures speak for themselves: the dice have quite a beautiful appearance in terms of the colors and the whole "Borealis" effect going on here. That is quite cool and I enjoy how they look *at a glance*...BUT...The dice themselves have EXTREMELY noticeable breaks in the color/pattern, little marks that stand out so very much and make these dice look damaged. One does not have to look closely to see these either. They are very noticeable and they take away a LOT from how cool these dice look. I am hesitant to even show my friends how cool the Borealis pattern is because they will definitely notice the problem areas and ask what happened. Now, I know enough about dice to know that these glaringly obvious defects are sprue marks, the place where the mold get injected with the liquid "plastic" that eventually hardens into the dice themselves. Usually, the dice are tumbled enough so that these marks are no longer noticeable... but not here!I blame myself to some extent as well, since I did see reviews that mentioned these issues, and other reviewers even have pictures... but I crossed my fingers and placed my order, hoping I would get a "good batch". But no, I did not receive a good batch...I can't believe a gigantic and famous dice company like Chessex allowed this series of dice to have so many visible defects. It really takes away from what should be an awesome product.OH and I almost forgot... what's up with my D10s? One hard nice sharp edges, and the other one is noticeably more rounded? The funny thing, of course, is the the percentile D10 (on the right in picture 3) does not have any visibile sprue marks, along with the D4. That tells me that those two were tumbled/polished enough to hide the sprue marks, while the rest were not.I would ask for an exchange, but I've read in these reviews that Chessex said the whole product line has these defects, so I'm not going to bother.

Pretty but not perfect
Beautiful dice! Love the shimmer and color changes. The issues I have are the numbers were poorly inked and needed redone, and there were chips on some of the dice. Not the quality I have gotten from Chessex previously.

Better than expected!
I got my set of CHX 27467 in and they're better than I could have hoped for! The product images don't quite do the actual material of the dice justice. They're a slightly deeper purple, and the blue flecks create this gorgeous stardust pattern. This is my first set of polyhedron dice that I've bought so I don't have anything to compare to, but the weight doesn't feel uncomfortable, and they seem to roll well. Overall I'm happy with the purchase and can't wait to start using them!

Meh
One of the dice is either damaged or just a bad dice, because it both looks weird and doesnt roll well. The rest are fine, but the d10 sucks.
