C.C Women's Paper Weaved Crushable Beach Embroidered Quote Floppy Brim Sun Hat

First, I will say that it is cute and for the money probably worth it. I haven't worn it for any length of time yet. It isn't made correctly. In order to wear the hat with the words on the back the seam of the rim is exactly on the front and very visible. That makes it look tacky and cheap (and it is cheap so there's that). If you were to wear it with the tag in the back, which is usually how you wear a hat, the words would be on the side. If you wanted to wear it with the seam in the back, the words would be on the front where no one could see them unless they are taller than you. On a good note, if it got stolen on the beach while traveling I wouldn't be losing a lot. I think I am going to bring it on vacation with me but I am disappointed. It's very hard to find any pics of anyone wearing this from the front but I did notice in the picture that you can see the seam in the front if you look hard enough. I just never thought to look for that as it's never happened to me before. Also, while it is crushable, you will have to reshape it every time you use it again after crushing it unlike other crushable hats I've had. That does take some time and in order to do it right you will need a mirror. The style of it is very cute and perfect for my face shape. I tried and tried to find one that was better quality online to no avail. :( They don't provide customer service and will direct you to contact Amazon. Of course, Amazon isn't going to be able to answer any questions about their product so that wasn't any help.UPDATE: I decided to return the hat and get an exchange in the hopes that the seam in the front was just a flaw in that particular hat. After trying to get help from the seller and not getting any answers I went ahead and ordered. I could not find a seller that was selling this particular quote or I would have ordered elsewhere. The second hat is the same with the seam in the front. The hat is made so that the words would not be in the back if it was put on correctly. Makes no sense. I am downgrading from a 3 star to a 1 star because of the poor customer service. If you can find it somewhere else, buy it there.

The description shows the hat being 7.5 inches from side to side at the top. The one I received is 6 inches. This is extremely disappointing since I ordered it based on the measurements. I have a larger head and this just will not work. Extremely disappointeted that I will not have a hat for my trip to Mexico this weekend. Do not purchase.

I was very dissatisfied with this hat in comparison to the picture primarily because of the size of the brim. It was absolutely nothing as pictured as it was much smaller. Ive seen some images that show the hat the way it should look and it seems to me this is a hit of miss purchase. Ive returns the hat and still not received my refund, it’s been almost 2 months.

Super cute and comfortable beach hat!! Held up well in my suitcase (laid flat with plenty of room left for it). My only complaint is as soon as it got slightly wet it lost its durability and began to sag all the way around making it just look like a tortilla on my head (lol sorry that’s the best way to explain it though)! It was large enough to cover my shoulders from the sun before it got wet. And it wasn’t too large on my head but it also didn’t squeeze my head from being too tight either!

I’m first about function- needed a hat to keep the sun off my face~ but when it functions AND is cute, you get 5 stars for sure! I’ve gotten so many compliments on this hat and sent the link to friends. You can tighten it too so I wore it boating as well. Considering getting another as all the sayings are fun and we live at the lake in the summer! Highly recommend! Not sure why the picture is upside but... you can get the gist.

Love the saying on this hat! Great for camping and keeping your face protected. I have melasma so keeping my face shaded is priority #1. As for size, it felt a bit snug on my head but not unbearable and it feels like it may loosed up with more wear/use. Everyones fit will be different and that is the only reason for a 4 star rating. Otherwise this hat showed up on time and packaged well. It was slightly folded into a box for shipping, but was able to flatten the brim over night just by setting it out on a flat surface are and in the morning it was perfect.

We went to Italy for our honeymoon and I ordered this hat while we were in Venice to be delivered to our next hotel in Florence. It arrived 2 days sooner than expected, which was great because I got to wear it that much longer! It held up well, decent sized brim, and the inner tie helped it not fly off my head on the windy footbridge walk to Civita di Bagnoregio (though I still kept hold of the brim just in case). I was able to pack it in my suitcase to travel to our following hotels and it held up well as long as I allowed the brim to be flat and stuffed the head area with a bag to keep it from being crushed. Towards the end the brim got a little wave in it, as tends to happen with this type of hat, but overall it was excellent quality and exactly what I expected.

They LOVED IT! The words on it make it so unique and fun! The “crinkles” in it are a little “sharp”, giving it more of a “pleated” look instead of curly waves in the hat, however that might just be when it first comes out and it might need a little time to de-crinkle. :} other than that, there was a smile from ear-to-ear from my Mother on Mother’s Day! I bought 3! One for my mom and one for my two aunts, so the 3 sisters have similar hats but with beautiful words unique to each of them! LOVED THIS! Thank you!

I purchased 3 of these floppy wide-brimmed beach hats for my 2 daughters and myself. They are super stylish, lightweight, comfortable, packable and offer great sun protection. They held up well even after getting wet. However, they did not withstand the winds. The brim flopped up and blew off easily. We chased after our hats on several occasions. This problem could be solved if there was some kind of a chin cord or straps.

The right one showed up with the correct saying. Folds up beautifully. Can not wait to wear it on the beach. Update. Used it on a week beach vacation. Did not hold up well. Very, very floppy hat by the end of the week. Maybe I can re starch it to create better structure.

Great quality material!! Love the way it falls. Is a bit more snug than I was anticipating. I do not have a large head but this was a little tight. Great product for the price and the stitching was perfect!!
