Actually that last thing is probably not true. Everything is breakable. Especially around my friend’s daughters. But, they haven’t seen these cool bulbs. And I’m glad. Because I REALLY like them.I did drop one, outdoors, in my driveway. And I’m tall, which seems worse for the item being dropped (velocity and stuff). But this light bulb bounced! Twice. And not like a quick bounce bounce. It caught pretty good air. It was more like booouunce. [pause] boouunce. And then it hit the grass and just sat there. I was worried. And turned it on and it worked just the same as it did before it fell from five inches above average height for women, one inch higher than average night for men.Suffice it to say, it’s durable.The hook is nifty. And works. I put it in the center of my tent when I went camping. And it worked great. And looked cool from the outside of the tent. But that’s irrelevant.I charged it via USB at home. Using standard house electricity. And it was super bright. After three nights camping it was still bright (and I read at bedtime! Not the Bible, but trashy fiction. It’s the best when camping. And I could see my book better than when I read at home. Mostly because there’s a cat there, but also Bcz it was just as bright, if not brighter than my reading lamp at home.So address the solar charging aspect. Once the thing runs it’s charge down, IF it runs it’s charge down, I’ll let you know. There’s just no sign of that happening.Good light. Super glad I purchased. Def would again. But probably won’t need to if bouncing them across my driveway won’t break them!

These solar charging bulbs worked great! I have had problems in the past with solar things including terrible solar panels that never charged or the item itself couldn't hold a charge for very long. But these bulbs and their solar panels both functioned very well. My husband, who's writing this, took these with him on an expedition to the bush of Africa. There was no electricity and the nearest town and hospital was at least a 4hr drive through the bush. I did not charge these before I left, which I should have. Each bulb comes with its own solar panel and charge cord. The charge is long enough I ran out of my tent and left it on the top of my tent to charge all day. I always had light in my tent at night. Not once did the bulb or the solar charger fail on my 14 day expedition into the African bush. I would recommend buying these Solar Bulb Lights!

I really like the solar lights for my chicken and deck cube. Make sure they are out of the weather. If not, the rain will mess them up, but other than that they’re wonderful.

Very bright. We haven't had any sun so I am unable to rate the solar charging. When charged by the house current the bulb lasts about 4 hrs. It is easy to install where needed.
