Disappointed-not seasoning
When I saw this package, I was excited. If you have ever eaten Dots pretzels, you know why I say this.I bought this under the impression that this was the Dots pretzel seasoning. It arrived and I opened it due to the fact I wanted to make Chex mix with this. After opening it, I found that this is nothing more than ground up Dots pretzels. I can make the same thing by putting pretzels in a bag and crushing them up into bread crumbs. If you are looking for a bread crumb Dots flavor, this is it. If you are looking for the actual seasoning, keep looking.I’m giving this 1 star because no where in the description does it make mention that this is not the actual seasoning or that is basically crushed pretzels to use as a coating.

Tasty and tender
I'm still cursing the coworker that introduced me to Dot's Pretzels daily, but I was able to get her back a little by telling her about their rub. It's Dot's Pretzel flavor as a rub - what's not to love? Super tasty, makes the tastiest, most tender chicken and pork I've had in ages.If you love their pretzels, you're bound to love this rub!

This is not a seasoning
So we ordered this because it says rub. This is not a rub. This is a breading. It's a bag of smashed up Dot's pretzels, NOT a pouch of the seasoning ON Dot's pretzels.

It’s just crushed pretzels...
I love these pretzels. Following a keto diet, we were excited to find the spice to use as a rub or in hamburgers. To our disappointment, we opened the bag to find nothing but crushed pretzels. Really?!? Sad and lazy...

NOT like the seasoning on the pretzels!!!
We bought this hoping we could season our own pretzels like DOTS. but it was NOTHING like the seasoning on their pretzels. In fact, it says HOMESTYLE PRETZEL RUB on the package, yet it says for Pork, Chicken & Fish. But it also says that it's a good "culinary crisp" for your favorite recipe or your favorite dessert". Welllll, that's not was I was wanting, unfortunately. So, chalk this up to a lesson learned I guess. I even tried the seasoning thinking I might put it on some chicken. No taste at all! Very disappointed in this and now I'm stuck with 3 packages of it. :(

NOT the typical cardboard-tasting bagged pretzel!
OMG, Dots Pretzels are *AMAZING*!! I only found these because I was making the long trip each night to see my dad in the hospital & I was stopping at small stores along the way to grab snacks for my dinner. I didnt want another cupcake, candy bar, or other high sugar item. I truly had ZERO expectations when I bought these....BUT ~ WoW! These are yummy, yummy, YUMMY! I've now turned my family on to them & my dad is still in the hospital (6 months today) but he's now able to eat again so I've even taken him some of Dot's Pretzels & he loves them. I have gone so far as to literally open a bag in the store to skeptical shoppers so they could try them. I've never had another store bought snack hook me like this but these are in a class by themselves. I've heard they also come in a blue package but I havent gotten enough of the original flavor to try any others just yet....haha

Little to no flavor. Can't believe this is sold as a "Rub".
I absolutely love Dot's pretzels! I always have a bag on hand. I was so excited to find this rub made by Dot's. How disappointing it was when I received the rub. I'm not even sure how they can justify calling it a rub. I expected the same great flavor that I love to lick off my fingers after eating the pretzels. This "rub" has none of that delicious flavor. It's just crushed pretzels. Very little (if any) salt or flavor, just crushed pretzels. Sadly I won't be buying again.

Not what I thought it would be
I love Dot's Pretzels, and when I saw this being sold on Amazon I was ecstatic. I thought I was getting a bag of the actual seasoning used on the pretzels, as that is what a rub is, mixed seasoning and spices. I was a little disappointed when I opened the bag and realized I just bought a bag of crushed pretzels. I could have made this "rub" myself at home with my food processor. I guess they had to do something with the rejected pretzels that don't make it into the big bags. If you have Dot's Pretzels at home, save yourself some money and throw a large handful into a food processor until it turns to dust.
