OTOTO Monster Pot Strainer Multicolor One Size

This was the first product I bought from them because I often make a batch of pasta and will throw everything into one pot since I live alone and only need to feed myself. Colanders were too much of a hassle since they’re so bulky sometimes and I only need a quick strain. I came across this and thought it would be perfect since it fit my needs exactly and I was happily surprised that it did just that! It was really easy to use and I didn’t lose a single noodle plus it’s adorable look fits my style! I’ve seen so many of Ototo’s products and was always curious, but after knowing that these products are as easily functional as they are quirky, I’m definitely going to buy more in the future!

It’s very self explanatory. It works fast & cleans up nice easy to store.

PROS: It's so cute and fun. I smile every single time I use it. I held off on purchasing one of these flat strainers - I had a fine mesh strainer & collendar, why would I need one? I got one on a bit of a sale this year and wonder why I waited so long. It's the first thing I pick up to rinse rice, drain pasta, etc. It's easy to store, easy to use, and fits in my dishwasher like a plate.CONS: Anyone with any limited mobility in their hands may find this a challenge. You also need to hold some type of potholder while draining the pot. Some rice will go through the holes (though the graduated sizing really helps with that). I feel like I'm reaching here.WOULD I BUY IT AGAIN? Yes! I kinda wish I'd have bought it sooner.

This strainer is sturdy, works good and fits nicely in a drawer. However, I am a senior with weak hands, and holding a large pan of pasta & water long enough to drain all the water out was extremely difficult. I much rather just dump the whole thing into my colander and be done with it. Also, it doesn't seem to work very well on smaller pans unless I'm doing something wrong.

I love to cook pasta then i saw this product and bought it to try. Amazing! Very useful, so easy to use and clean. Now my kitchen is no mess at all. Would definitely recommend this to a friend.

This strainer is really cute and I love that I can use it on a pot of bowl to strain fruits/veggies and pasta. I was a little disappointed though because I thought it was make of silicone and not plastic which is why I bought it in the first place but it was too much of a has me to return it.
