2009 VW Passat 2.0 T
Arrived early. Relatively easy install. Fixed the problem. Only time will tell but worked upon installation and at a fraction of OEM or local parts stores pricing.Updated 1 Mar 21: Alternator failed after 10 months. Supposed to be 1 year warranty from seller and two year from mfr. Neither are returning messages. Awaiting response from seller and will update rating if replaced with working part.

I had the unit tested at an auto parts store before I pulled the one from my car (2009 VW Passat) The alternator failed to produce any DC voltage (internal regulator not working.

Waste of my time and money
Its says its fit for 2015 VW Passat 1.8T , it didnt. I had to waste money to put on . Now i gotta pay for right one to put on.
