I bought this for a grandson of 10 years. He was very excited to get it and started to work immediately. He was very enthused and worked on it until done. It is a challenging kit for those with an inquisitive mind.

This was the perfect gift for my son who is 4 years old. He loves building anything he can! It has held up greatly when he plays, and we love that he can build it different ways when he gets bored. Instructions are easy to follow, and easy to assemble.

It’s a fun project my son loves it. I wish the instructions were a little more clear. He couldn’t have done it by himself. But a great activity together.

We got this set for our grandson's 8th birthday. He is enjoying the challenge of putting the little machines together. Some of the pics with the advertising were a little deceptive - making the machines look much bigger, but if you read the description, you can see that they are small. I'd say the age recommendations are accurate. It is fun and challenging for an 8-year-old. Probably not for younger children unless they have a lot of help.

This kit is really cool but not even close to the size shown. It is significantly smaller, making the screws tiny. Again, it’s a nice kit but we feel deceived about the size

Great for learning how to use some basic tools, problem solving, following a diagram and fun. This product is a great alternative to electronics. May be a little too challenging for some kids. But that's what dad are for.

I let my son rate this one since its his toy. His words: It's 5 out of 5! I asked if it's easy to assemble, he said: Not really but yea. I don't know exactly what that means in kid language but there you have it.
