These are for use with Murphy's citronella incense sticks. They work. But are terribly expensive in my opinion. I purchased 6 of them to use on a tropical trip. I saved the boxes in order to repack them and ship them home. They are a heavier ceramic, but, too expensive. Hope they last forever, but being ceramic - eh. I will dread having to pay to replace them. Maybe go to a pail and bucket of sand. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. I also refuse to 'change' my review for a refund of a product I have given a poor review - and that is offered from time to time. It's a shame they phased this rating system out because it did help you see who has been around the longest and who is a trustworthy reviewer.  I've been doing reviews for over 25 years with Amazon - over 6,200 reviews posted, those reviews have been viewed well over 50,000 times, including well over 26,000 likes. BOTTOM LINE:  I pay for all my stuff, just like you do.

I was just getting these to be able to use mosquito repellent incense, not expecting anything attractive, but they’re ceramic and look good on the table while also containing the incense ashes. Very pleasantly surprised by their quality.

These were much bigger than I had anticipated. They work great. My only issue is that there isn't a way to secure the incense better in the hole of the holder.

No mosquito bites here! The incense holder could be just a tad wider to catch *all* ashes, but nonetheless is a good product even on the windier days.

This is a great incense holder. I will purchase more.
