This product allowed me to convert a ceiling recessed-can light into a spot system to highlight artwork. I love it!The only drawback is that the male stem is short, so I needed to purchase a socket extender to enable the product to fit inside the can's trim.

This house has several single-socket light fixtures and chandeliers that were way too dim. I bought some of these socket-multipliers and it made them so much better in terms of brightness. I'm using LED bulbs, like most people probably are these days, so I can't speak to how they perform with incandescent bulbs; but they work great for the LED bulbs, with no overheating or electrical overload detected.

We put this in an area of basement that only had one light bulb, much brighter, helped to put more light in area

is a decent product, just make sure you know the wattage rating of the bulbs your using and the rating of the original socket there going into so you don't overload it.which is something that needs to be said more often about these then anything so you don't burn your house down.

Perfect for a garage or storeroom or utility space. This took that one light in a storeroom and added 2 more so it’s way brighter for much further in the room. Quick fix and decent price! Seems like good quality too.

Good idea but not too sturdy. In fact the legs are flimsy and hard to keep in place. (Update : The company that makes this product is telling me now to use bulbs that are not too heavy, so if you decide to buy this product make sure to weight your lightbulbs and ask them what is the maximum weight allowed)

no complaints. the individual sockets swivel as expected and it works reliably. the construction feels a bit cheap but it's not like i'm adjusting it often, so it really doesn't matter.
