Great charger with one minor hitch
I have used this charger since 2019 and think it's a great value for the price. I like the quality and ease of use - works great! For this I give it 5 stars. However, I did run into one little issue, and it has to do with input voltage. The charger comes with an AC power cord as well as a separate power cord with coaxial plug at one end and alligator clips at the other for portable field use, say, connecting to a car battery, etc. For field use the charger is rated from 9 to 12VDC input. Believe it! The first time I tried connecting the charger to my field box battery the charger displayed ERR9, which, according to the manual, turns out to be an input voltage error that exceeds maximum limits. To test what this maximum input limit was, I connected the charger to my benchtop variable power supply and slowly turned up the voltage to just past 12 volts. At about 12.2 -12.3 volts the unit beeped and ERR9 was displayed. This meant the charger could not be run on a standard 12-volt lead-acid battery (usually 12.6 to 14.2 volts). Fortunately the charger seems well protected and no harm was done to the unit.We have solar-powered charging carts with lead-acid batteries at our flying field. To use this charger on the solar carts I purchased an adjustable DC-DC Buck-Boost converter/regulator - for roughly $15 on Amazon - setting the output to about 10.5 volts. The charger works like a champ on the buck/boost converter with no stability or overheating issues. Back in business! In general, if you're planning to use the charger only from the AC outlet, I highly recommend this product. Just be careful what power source you plan to use other than the AC power cord.

Venom strikes again!!
Wow! This 4-in-one charger is feature packed and awesome! Small, lightweight, compact, durable and very well built!Out of the box I can feel the quality. Not flimsy like other chargers I have owned. Rubberized feet grip the desktop/countertop so it stays put! Softer tones unlike the annoying tones from my other chargers. Great internal features too. Multiple battery type plugs mounted right in the face of the charger so no need for additional wires. Full led read out that is easy to read. Shows battery voltage as soon as you plug in the battery. Adjustable in .01 amps from .01-1.0 amps. When charging, alternates from voltage to amp setting. Works just like other chargers in regards to changing settings so very familiar and easy to use. One thing I really liked was when battery is done charging, you get 3 indications. Audible tones, flashing "full" on screen and green light on face! Cool! Has AC and DC capabilities. Oh and one last thing...super cool light up "VENOM" logo on the front!!! Added coolness! As if this wasn't enough for you to decide on this charger, Venom is supporting this charger with a "limited lifetime warranty". That's HUGE! Electronics with a big warranty says tons about their confidence in this charger...im sold!If I had to complain aboit this charger i would say 2 things. 1) it only charges 1s batteeies, I would love to see it with 2-3s capabilities and 2) I need more batteries!!!In my personal experience, anytime I have ever had an issue with a Venom product or I just wanted to call and ask questions about products, I was able to contact a customer service rep every time I called. Based in the US I don't have to worry about staying up until midnight to reach a CS rep...and I do it over the phone (or email)! I love Venom's service after sale and Customer Service department, second to none! All in all, I'm very pleased with Venom's newest innovation and would buy again if need arrises!Thank you Venom for making this a "no-brainer" purchase! I look forward to years of use from this charger! Woohooooo!!

Avoid this, not worth the headaches
Update to the update: I take back what I took back. Turns out the batteries I was using were bad, not the charger. I bought a new set of Venom 1s batteries and all is well. The charger works fine (still don't love the UI but I can love with it) and my heli flies great again. If you run into the same errors I did, check the batteries first.Update: I take it all back, this charger is terrible. I will leave my original review below, but I will also tell you that after owning and using this for over a month it is infuriating. The charge constantly gives errors that make no sense. It is constantly showing ERR7 which means over voltage when the battery voltage is 3.8 V (fully charged is 4.2). I can take the very same battery and plug it into my Spektrum charger and it starts right up with no problem at all.On top of that, the user interface is frustrating at best. It requires way way too many button presses to get the thing started. My Spektrum charger with start charging 4 batteries with a single button press. This Venom charger requires no less that 12 presses to do the same thing. And by the time you are done pressing all of those buttons, the first and second batteries have stopped charging due to a false error.Original review is below:While I wish there were a few changes to this charger it gets the job done quickly and well. I have batteries with all of the connectors that this charger supports and they all work fine. I wish there was more than 0.1 amp resolution but I appreciate that you can set the charge current individually for each output. Cycling though the channels with the buttons can get tedious and I wish the hold to start changing was shorter or started all channels at the same time (after setting all the currents). Even with these minor flaws this is a great little charger for $31 (at time of writing).
