The truth is that I have tried several products for dandruff and this one is noticeable from the first use, you feel the softness and silkiness of the hair, I love it!, the size is good for the price, I like the scent.

I have tried many premium dandruff shampoos. I have very oily skin and scalp. I write this review during a heatwave in Philadelphia. Hot humid weather is the worst weather for a scalp condition because of extra perspiration and sebum secretion. Also I went on a prescription that might have caused a scalp smell. It was embarrassing to hear people tell me they " could smell my hair."I do a double application of DS shampoo. I leave the second application on for 5 minutes. My hair is clean, soft and odorless. DS is expensive but it solved my scalp condition.

I used to use this shampoo for a few years for my dandruff. The last two times I ordered it I could feel that the scent as well as the texture of the shampoo has been altered. They changed the formula. It DOES NOT FOAM on my head anymore, feels more like a moisturizing cream on my head and leaves my hair dull and volumeless, it also feels less effective in battling dandruff.

I've been using DS Labs for a number of years now, using the Revita shampoo. It works better than the other products I had tried in the past but was my no means an actual solution to my issue. I did like how it lathered and smelled and as long as I was diligent with my wash schedule (2-3x/week) it was passable.Decided to try Dandrene about a month or so ago and wanted to wait until I'd had enough time with the product to write a review. My honest take is this - it is the first thing I have tried in 2 decades of flaky dandruff issues that has genuinely worked. It took some time to get used to it's lack of lather and I can't say I'm too fond of it's sent, but god does it work! Even if I slack on my wash schedule, the dandruff has yet to re-imerge. It's also reduced my shedding - I have long, curly, hair which primarily comes out in the shower apposed to daily shedding and since using this the amount on my shower walls has more than halved! My only issues are that I wish they made a larger pump style bottle like they do with the Revita and that it was better scented bc to me it's kinda gross smelling but that's also subjective (I'm autistic).All in all, 4.5/5 make it smell like the Revita shampoo and offer it in a bigger bottle and it's a 5/5 hands down.
