Once you go Shokz, you never go back.
I will preface this review by saying my partner has the Shokz Openmove and by comparison, the Openrun are definitely, definitely worth the additional cost. Compared to the Openmove they are far more comfortable, have a better charging system (USB-C plug in Vs magnetic cable) and have higher quality sound.I opted for the mini over the standard, I have (what I would say!) an avaerage size head and short hair and having tried the standard, found the standard 'bar' around the back of the head to be too long, the mini sits just right. The headset itself is light and comfortable, I can leave them on all day without noticing their presence, I also wear glasses and the Shokz sit right alongside without any issue.I will note that it's not really comfortable to lean back or lay onto the band so for this i still have a pair of in-ears.The battery is great, once charged I believe I have had up to 9 hours of continuous use, without continuous use but bluetooth enabled on my device, I can go a couple of days without having to recharge. The sound quality is great, whilst obviously not as good as a decent set of in ear or over ear heaphones, I still find the quality good enough to be able to hear nuances in my music, as a bonus wearing the headset is far less obstructing than in ear or over ear headphones. The fact that they sit over your ear rather than in means you can use them in a work environment whilst still being able to hold conversations or use them whislt travelling and be able to hear the environment around you.I have had my Shokz for just over a year now with daily use and have had no issues as of yet (fingers crossed), I cannot see myself going back.I will say, if you plan on buying Shokz, at the minimum buy a pair of Openrun, they can be had for £90 pretty regularly, any cheaper set and the overall quality is noticeably worse.

Excellent
Bought to replace ear bud’s which were not comfortable and relatively easy to dislodge. The Shokz earphones are so comfortable in use leaving the ears open and no possibility of the falling off.The sound quality is very good and the operating system is so easy to use. This is not a cheap item but the quality ,ease of use and practicality make it well worth the initial cost. Highly recommended.

Simply brilliant!!!
Shokz headphones are fantastic innovation and a great alternative to over-ear or in-ear headphones. I was a little skeptical at first, not convinced bone conduction would work very well at all. As soon as I put them on I was mighty impressed; clarity and audio quality were great, but more importantly (and arguably the USP here) I could still hear ambient noise around me. These will never give you sound comparable to a similarly priced premium over-ear headphones, but what they give you instead is the versatility you need when walking, running or cycling - you get great music/audio but are not disconnected from the world around you. I use mine regularly on dog walks, at the gym and when out on MTB trails. Battery life is great and I'll get numerous hours of constant use between charging. Bluetooth range is excellent, and I've not found them to drop out when on the move. This particular pair has a smaller headband than the standard Shokz - this makes it easier to wear in bed, or when you head is resting against a seat back. I've even used these on Teams calls - OK, in a quiet room but not in a busy location. These are so good I've furnished my wife and kids with them!!!!!

Fit very well
I've hated headphones all my life as I've never found ones that are comfortable. I don't listen to a lot of music on any device and uncomfortable headphones have probably contributed to that!.I wanted some to travel with, to watch a film ect and came across these.I read the reviews on these and lucky someone mentioned the sizing otherwise I would have bought the standard and not the mini. These fit well.I've not worn them for more than a couple of hours but so far so good.I find the sound is good for me but I have no other to compare them too.Pairing was straight forward.* update. Wore them on the plane to watch a movie, whilst they were comfortable to wear the sound quality was poor with all the background noise. I was able to hover them over my ear canals to listen to the film better bit this was not entirely comfortable. So great earphones for normal everyday use, not great for noisy environments!!!

Great for reading running
Purchased these as an upgrade to an older pair of aftershockz bone conductors.Sound quality has been greatly improved and the mini size band fits my head much better than the original large band. Battery life is good too. With hindsight I would have got the usb rather than magnetic charge.Overall a great pair of headphones, especially for running as you can listen to music for ages whilst saying aware of the world around you.

Awesome concept and best customer support ever
I originally had the Trekz unit (which is still working perfectly after many years of use), I love it and I was excited to finally see a nice design update, especially with the option to have a shorter frame, which was something that annoyed me on the Trekz.I did have a power problem on the OpenRun after 8 months of use and I can honestly say I have never experienced such a good customer support ever!!!... I had a reply within 2 days and my problem was fixed quasi immediately. This is of immense value for me and the clear effort from the brand to put out a great product and a great brand experience compels me to take the time to write this extensive review as a shout out for the Shokz team, so below is what I want to say about the product itself (and I know it's gonna sound like a paid review but it's not... :) )Things I can't stand with earbuds in general are:1- the lack of comfort induced by having the bud in the ear for an extended period of time2- poor battery times and poor sound quality due to the earbud size format2- How cumbersome the charge case is in a pocket and the need to carry it all the time for the times when the buds need to be removedThe Shokz address all these issues because their architecture give them a little more volume to embark higher capacity batteries and better speakers. They can be used so comfortably for hours and whenever somebody talks to me, I can quickly drop the buds on my neck, which generally a very convenient way to carry them around, without being bulky and cumbersome like headphones.I want to say that they offer more awareness of the environment from not obstructing the ear canal but the sound can be so full (at least the way I use them :) ), that they can just as easily prevent hearing sounds from the outside. Still what is for sure is that it's gotta be healthier to use bone conduction than shoving a foreign object in the ear canal all the time, especially with the effects of noise cancellation.Next improvements that I look forward to from the Shokz team:1- a longer charging cable, especially as they use a proprietary magnetic connector that you can't easily replace with another cable (I mean, seriously guys, what were you thinking with a cord that short....).2- an even more discreet frame, I'm thinking transparent plastic here...I hope this review will be helpful

The sweet spot for earphones - everything right.
I recently lost my Shokz Openrun minis while on vacation, so thought I would try a high end Open Ear alternative with directional acoustics as a replacement. While the open ear buds were high quality and highly reviewed, within a few hours using them I realized how superior the Shokz had been, compared to the open ear. The Shokz are far more comfortable, light weight and well fitting; I forgot I had them on. The sound clarity is exceptional in comparison. They are easy to operate with minimal buttons on clean lines, and hold a charge for at least 10 hours. I had not ever run the battery down completely. They are a better design then any other in-ear or open-ear headphones that I have used. They totally hit the sweet spot for comfort, ease-of-use, and sound quality. I have now bought new Shokz Mini to replace the lost ones and will be more careful not to lose them in the future.

Excelentes
