Beautiful
These bulbs give a beautiful glow and are stunning in appearance. They are bright, but not a white bulb, so they are great for ambient lighting, not to actually illuminate a whole room. We've only had them for a few days so I can't comment on longevity or energy savings. As long as they last, I'll definitely buy them again for the lamps we placed them in.

Very nice
I have been l8ving with the horrid LED light in my home for over a decade. I forgot how comfortable incandescent light is to the eye.

Very pretty
Got a reality check reminding me that 2x 40W incandescent bulbs are very very dim by modern standards and are not practical at all for lighting even a fairly small room. These do look beautiful, though.

Ambiance lighting
The bulbs let off a warm, ambient light but are not the brightest. If you plan on putting these in a room with no lighting, use at least 3-4 bulbs. They are perfect for a romantic dinner or setting.
