Worked well on my fat tire ebike
These brakes are a nice upgrade from the ones that came on my e-bike. The mechanical brakes it came with were pathetic, weak, and made all kinds of grinding sounds when you applied them. These brakes are nice and strong, quiet, and very easy to install. I put them on my wife's Heybike which had 160 mm rotors, and I put these on my larger fat tire e-bike with the 180 mm rotors. I did not need the mounting brackets that came with the calipers and simply left the OEM mounting brackets on the bikes and mounted these calipers to the OEM mounting brackets. Super easy to install.

A must for smooth, quiet, performance braking!
After getting my first ebike, the mechanical disc brakes did not have the positive stopping performance that I, or anyone for that matter, could depend on in an extreme situation. I carry tools which can add a lot of mass to a "downhill projectile" (especially since that bike does 40+ without pedaling). I love these brakes. Installation is relatively easy, patience is required for optimum adjustment. I, in fact ordered a set of these for my new ebike before it arrived and didn't even ride it until these brakes were on it.The best analogy I can offer is that "my bikes now stop as if they are performance cars."

Great upgrade for GoTrax E-bike
I have a Gotrax F2v1 and it came with squeaky mechanical brakes. They require constant adjustment after 300 plus miles of riding. Stopping power was just okay. Upgraded to this xtech caliper and the install was a bit longer than expected and required a several adjustments. Be patient and make the adjustments so it doesn’t rub. I had to use the original bracket for the rear but the replacement bracket for the front. It took about 6 miles of riding and hard braking to break in the pads but now it stops on a dime. No shims needed like on some other e-bike brands I’ve read about. No more squawking like the mechanical brakes. I’m happy. And at 40$ this is 60$ cheaper than buying the full upgrade from the manufacturer or Amazon. They look nice in the blue color as well. Definitely safer stopping power. I would recommend this if you have a GoTrax e-bike with mechanical brakes. The performance is greatly improved!

Out of 4 calipers 3 failed badly after a month
I bought 2 sets of these to replace calipers on my and my wife's ebikes.2 weeks after Install and coming back from gym I completely lost my rear brakes, had to use front only which failed 5 miles later and almost made me crash into a fence. They either leaked out hydraulic fluid or there was no fluid. 2 weeks later same thing happened to my wife's rear caliper. Sudden and complete loss of brakes during a ride.

I can Stop!
I bought an electric bike (Narrak) has cable, mechanical disc brakes.. absolute garbage! you could stop faster dragging your feet so I installed hydraulic calipers (Petchor HB-100) all self enclosed, and used them with my mechanical cable, completely transformed the bike, now it has serious brakes. I tried getting a caliper and handbrake cable combo, but none of them are long enough, so this was the best option. It’s a better option.

Good while it worked
I got a set of these brakes back in Dec 2022. I installed them using compressionless brake housing for the front and rear. On May 2023, the rear brake finally gave out. Before that, I tried cleaning the pads and rotor with 90% isopropanol hoping that it would improve the stopping power of the rear brake. Bedded the brakes after cleaning and there'd be a slight improvement that didn't last.I inspected the rear brake using a flashlight and found the rubber boot covering the hydraulic piston to be wet with mineral oil or whatever hydraulic fluid this brake uses. A seal gave way leading to a slow leak until enough hydraulic fluid was lost so that the rear could no longer stop the rotor. Oddly enough, the rear pistons still moved when I pulled on the brake lever but I could turn the rear wheel by hand, the same is not true for the front brake. The front brake will throw me over the handlebars if I don't move my weight to the back while pulling hard on the front brake lever.

Great brake calipers!
These brakes are a nice upgrade from the ones that came with my e-bike. The mechanical disc brakes it came with were not that good at stopping, and I did want them to work when I really needed them. These brakes are very nice, strong, quiet, and easy to install. In reading the other reviews it sounds like every bike installation will be a little different. My rear caliper went on in a minute but the front took more time to figure out the best mounting spacers to use. The only thing that I had to do was cut the cable ends because the OEM cable adjuster on the caliper was a different size. Not a problem just threaded into the new adjuster and crimped on a new end. I have to say that I'm surprised at how much better they work then the all mechanical ones. I hope they last a long time. I would definitely recommend them 👍Remember you have to take the time to properly install and adjust them.

Perfect for upgrade for my bike
More than enough stopping power.

Only one caliper bracket for my 160mm rotor on my Jetson Bolt pro
It seems that the rear caliper bracket works on each rotor as you can see in the picture.I installed the front first and it works and fits fine. The rear is not the best picture but there is at least a 1cm gap that needs to be addressed either with a spacer or lots of washers. If you order for the Jetson I suggest getting two rear calipers. The calipers themselves are identical but the mounting brackets are shorter for the front and will not reach either the front or the rear. Hope this helps other Jetson ebike owners with crappy brakes. These' ones seem to work better than the OEM ones. I've only done a very short ride so long term, who knows? Zero instructions as well. I did the front first with the bracket that fit and was pleased, then went to do the rear, no beuno.

Great upgrade to Lectric XP 3.0
Lectric XP owner. Read carefully. The rear brake is plug and play and really easy to installThe front break is the issue. The calliper is more thicker and will touch the wheel’s spokes. The distance between the disc break and the spokes is to small. I have solve the issue with a thin spacer under the wheel disc brake. Once done simply adjust the calliper as far as possible from the spokes without touching the disc and enjoy. The results is insane. No more noise/friction when rolling and really great stopping power. Only make noise once on a 10km test ride. I may finally need to add a horn/bell to the bike now.
